Google is experimenting with a new verification feature in search to help users avoid clicking on fake or fraudulent website links.
Some users are seeing blue checkmarks next to business links that Google believes are genuine, such as Microsoft, Meta, and Apple.
These checkmarks are currently being displayed for a limited number of businesses and are visible only to some users, as the feature is still in the testing phase and not widely available yet.
