BREAKING: Xiaomi's self-developed SoC's Teased
Xiaomi has teased their upcoming self-developed SoC built for smartphones, tablets and watches etc., thus eventually trying to possibly ditch Snapdragon and MediaTek in the future.
Unlike Google which completely ditched Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, Xiaomi don't really have the balls to that globally due to contracts and thus these chipsets will remain exclusive to China only and so would be the product.
The processor is named as Xiaomi Xuanjie O1, made by TSMC on its 2nd Gen N3E 3nm process and contains 19 billion transistors. It will power flagship Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra tablet that will debut on 22nd May in China.
CPU:
2x Cortex-X925 @ 3.9GHz
4x Cortex-A725 or X4 @ 3.4GHz
2x Cortex-A720/A725 @ 1.89GHz
2x Cortex-A520 @ 1.8GHz
Thus, a 10-core SoC with 2+4+2+2 config
Geekbench 6 scores:
Single-core: 3119
Multi-core: 9673
GPU: Mali G-925 Immortalis with 16CU
Clocked at 1795MHz or 1.795GHz
