Apple is set to host its biggest launch event of the year on September 9, where it is expected to unveil new iPhones, Apple Watch models, its first foldable iPhone and the next-generation Siri AI.

Apple is preparing for one of its most important launches this year. The firm has confirmed that it is holding a launch event at its Cupertino, California headquarters on September 9. This event is set to commence at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and will be featuring some significant product launches as Apple transitions to the second half of 2026.
This media invite comes with the slogan “Surprise and Shine,” together with a shining logo from Apple. Although Apple hasn’t disclosed which products it intends to launch, it’s already known that some of the most eagerly anticipated products include the new iPhones and Apple Watches.
The most exciting news for many might be the appearance of the very first foldable iPhone from Apple. There have been rumors of Apple creating its first foldable gadget for many years already, and now analysts expect the company to reveal its long-expected product at the September event. Such a product would be a huge addition to the lineup of Apple's smartphones and also an entrance into the premium segment of foldable phones.

Along with new iPhones, Apple may also launch new versions of its Apple Watches. No details about that yet, but the September event usually marks the beginning of another generation of the company's smartwatches. Thus, the company may not only present hardware updates but also some new capabilities and features related to health, fitness and software.
Finally, Apple will probably focus on its artificial intelligence plans during the event. There are rumors of a new Siri version which is going to be known as Siri AI. The AI-powered Siri is expected to implement modern large language model technology into the company's assistant. The goal of the updated Siri is to not just answer some questions, but also interact with apps like Messages and Calendar.
The company has already upgraded some of the devices from their Mac lineup this week by launching some new Mac mini and Mac Studio models with the help of some newer generation silicon. The new Macs are expected to become available for shipping starting September 22, which means that the September 9th launch event will be mostly dedicated to the new iPhone, Apple Watch and AI products, rather than the new Mac.
This launch event will be significant not only because of the launch of these new products, but also because this time the event will happen under the new CEO of the company, as John Ternus will replace Tim Cook on September 1. Mr. Ternus was working as the Senior Vice President of Hardware Technologies at Apple for quite a long time and had a big influence on the process of developing the company’s hardware.
Thus, having a new CEO and a potential revolutionary foldable iPhone, along with the new watches and a much smarter Siri, Apple’s launch event on September 9 could be one of the most important product launches for the company in recent years. The slogan "Surprise and shine" makes the event even more interesting and promising.
