With the official announcement of the CMF Watch 3 Pro's launch in India by CMF by Nothing, the Indian smartwatch market is set to see yet another fierce competitor entering the fray. Having made its worldwide debut in July 2025, this smartwatch has been creating waves in India ever since. Now that teasers have turned into official announcements, the launch seems inevitable. Although no concrete details regarding the date and cost of the product have been released yet, one thing that has been decided is the platform through which it will be available – Flipkart.

So far, everything about the CMF Watch 3 Pro is pointing towards the fact that it will be more than just a regular budget smartwatch.
Premium Display and Smart Features
The main feature of the Watch 3 Pro is the 1.43-inch circular AMOLED screen with the resolution of 466 × 466. This screen provides a smooth 60Hz refresh rate, and the maximum brightness of 670 nits makes this model applicable during sunny days in India.
Moreover, CMF concentrated on individualization options. It is possible to choose from more than 120 faces, and users have the possibility to customize the layout according to their preferences. Additionally, the connection with the Nothing X application allows using the device for controlling music, taking photos remotely, and tracking one's health status.
An important feature that distinguishes this product from other budget smartwatches is the integration with ChatGPT. It adds some intelligence to the device, allowing users to communicate not only with their friends and family but also with an advanced AI assistant.
Health Tracking and AI Fitness Coaching
The emphasis on health and fitness tracking is kept up by CMF, and I think CMF has even taken things one notch higher in this case. Besides providing better heart rate detection, the new device has been designed with an upgraded version of sleep tracking, which helps understand sleep cycles in greater detail.
However, what really sets this model apart from its rivals is the presence of 3D animated warm-up guides and guided breathing techniques, thus enabling people to get themselves ready for their workouts and to de-stress themselves. Moreover, with gesture control, the user can perform certain functions without even touching the watch.
The inclusion of dual-band multi-system GPS is a great addition to those who love working out or running. Not only will it help with more accurate tracking but the presence of an AI-based running coach, too, is quite commendable in my opinion.
Battery Life and Durability
Long-lasting battery remains another impressive feature that adds to the popularity of wearables produced by CMF. The Watch 3 Pro offers 13 days of work within regular usage but only 10 when you use it intensively. Even if you turn on the always-on display function, your device will work for four days, which is quite a good result taking into account its AMOLED screen.
As far as durability is concerned, your gadget will be equipped with IP68 protection that guarantees dust and water resistance.
Metal Design Brings a Premium Feel
One of the major changes made to the device in this year's iteration is the design. While many low-end models of smartwatches utilize plastic bodies, the Watch 3 Pro has opted for a metal body, making it look like a more expensive and durable piece of hardware.
The watch uses the round dial design that makes it seem like a conventional wristwatch and not a fitness tracker. Colour-wise, there are four available options to choose from Light Green, Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange.
For better context, it should be mentioned that the predecessor of the current model, namely the CMF Watch Pro 2, had been available for purchase in India at the price of ₹4,999 and came with an aluminum frame as well as interchangeable bezels.
Expected Price and Availability in India
Though there have been no details regarding its price from CMF as of now, some assumptions can be made based on its previous model. As for the Watch Pro 2, which costs ₹4,999, the Watch 3 Pro might see a slight rise in price, but could still fall under the ₹8,000 range.
However, despite its increased cost, the upgraded features like AMOLED display, dual-band GPS, artificial intelligence training, and the use of metals would help make it a more competitive product in the budget-friendly smartwatches.
With Flipkart confirmed as the retailer and specifications disclosed, the release announcement will surely come very soon.
This isn’t merely an iteration, but rather a revolution in terms of what people should expect when purchasing a budget smartwatch. AI coaching, ChatGPT compatibility, dual-band GPS, and a premium metal construction are all things that usually come with more expensive watches. But if CMF is able to keep its pricing aggressive, it’s very possible that this watch will prove itself to be one of the best-value-for-money purchases in India.
