Click on the link labelled "NEET UG 2026 Admit Card" available on the homepage.


Step 3:

Enter your login credentials, including your application number and date of birth or password.

What to Do If There Is an Error in the Admit Card?

Accordingly, the re-exam for NEET UG 2026 will be held on Sunday, June 21, between 2:00 PM and 5:15 PM, using a pen and paper offline system wherein the students have to fill their answers on OMR sheets.


As per reports, around 22.75 lakh students had enrolled themselves for NEET UG this time, out of which more than 22.05 lakh had attended the test that took place on May 3. The re-test scheduled to be held on June 21 will take place amidst strict monitoring and security measures so that the medical entrance test remains transparent.


As per the report released by the government, the Ministry of Education has increased its involvement with the re-examination process, and during the latest Cabinet meeting held by Secretary T.V. Somanathan, the preparations were appraised.


The testing agency has clearly stated that requests for changes related to the following details mentioned on the admit card will not be entertained under any circumstances:

  • Question paper medium

  • Examination centre

  • Examination date

  • Examination timing

NEET UG 2026 Examination Date and Timing

The NEET UG exam of 2026 is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026.

The NEET UG exam will be held in one day only at one sitting like the previous year.


This exam will be held offline with the help of pen and paper where candidates have to darken the OMR sheet.


NEET UG 2026 Exam Pattern

The examination will consist of a total of 180 compulsory questions distributed across three subjects.

Chemistry

Biology
  • Total Questions: 90

The total duration of the examination will be three hours.


Compensatory Time for PwD Candidates

This rule has been repeated by NTA for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who will be taking this examination.


The PwD candidates shall be provided with an additional hour in compensation time irrespective of their choice of using a scribe or not.
