When the upcoming racing game was revealed to the public in 2025, Microsoft made it clear that the game would be available on both Xbox and PC. The developers said, “Are you planning your trip to Discover Japan on PlayStation 5? Keep an eye out for Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 coming later this year!” From the statement above, it becomes evident that the PS5 edition of the game is going to be released in 2026, even though the studio has not announced the release date yet.

What is interesting about it is the fact that the Forza Horizon 6 page on the PlayStation Store is live, allowing players to add the game to their wishlist before its release.

It is not known officially when the PS5 release date will be announced by Microsoft and the developers. However, one such venue that could be considered would be the Tokyo Game Show 2026. The reason is that Forza Horizon 6 had been exhibited during last year's Tokyo Game Show, and since Tokyo had played a great part in the theme and setting of the game, it would make sense for it to be shown once again this year.

Forza Horizon 6 Gets New Drift Attack Feature
