Infinix GT 50 Pro is launching in India on October 27 via Flipkart. Discover its gaming features, liquid cooling system, expected specifications, battery, cameras and expected price.

Infinix GT 50 Pro

Infinix has now announced the launch date of its upcoming gaming phone in India called Infinix GT 50 Pro. The company will release its latest Infinix GT 50 Pro gaming phone in India on October 27, featuring a gaming phone design with shoulder triggers, RGB lighting, and liquid cooling technology. The upcoming gaming phone will come to India in association with Flipkart.

As per Infinix, the upcoming GT 50 Pro gaming phone will be targeting mobile gamers and performance enthusiasts beyond just having a powerful chip. Infinix has been teasing quite a few design features as well as gaming aspects for its upcoming phone in India. Despite the brand not confirming complete specifications or pricing of the Infinix GT 50 Pro for India, it can be expected to carry similar features to its global model, which had been released earlier this year in Indonesia.

Infinix GT 50 Pro India Launch Date and Availability

Infinix GT 50 Pro will be made available for purchase in India on 27th October 2026. There have been official confirmations by the company about its collaboration with Flipkart regarding the launch. However, till date, there are no announcements regarding the phone's Indian price, sale date, or even the launch deals.

The future smartphone will belong to the GT series of gaming phones offered by the brand that aims to offer high-end hardware along with game-specific features. The GT 50 Pro is likely to come up against performance-oriented smartphones in the mid-range section, where buyers today expect good refresh rate screens, powerful processor, big batteries, and effective cooling system to play for long.

The eventual positioning of the phone will depend a lot on the price point announced at the time of launch. In addition to having competition from the POCO range of smartphones, there will be competition from the mid-range phones as well.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Design and Colours

Design happens to be one of the main advantages of Infinix GT 50 Pro. This time, the manufacturer was influenced by the design of Cyber Macha Supercar, making it look unique compared to other mid-range phones available on the market. It includes an aerodynamic design with a narrow waistline and streamlined curves inspired by the design of wind tunnels.

There are two versions of the phone for Indian market: Black Abyss and Red Blaze. In both cases, the phone features the design that is characteristic for racers and aimed at attracting gamers who would not like traditional designs of smartphones.

Also, there is Kevlar-style textured surface which is based on the 2D composite panel. The design description says that such design ensures both durability and light weight. Overall, this makes the phone look sporty while still having the design typical for gaming smartphones.

The last but not the least addition to the device is LED lighting system which will be working according to certain situations, including answering calls, playing games and listening to music.

HydroFlow Liquid Cooling System Explained

One of the most fascinating innovations of the Infinix GT 50 Pro is the HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system. This technology utilizes the micro-pump liquid-cooling network meant to boost heat transfer while working under a heavy load on the smartphone.

Gaming phones produce much heat while gaming for long periods, especially if they run visually intensive games in fast frame rates. Heat has an effect on performance and can force the phone to slow down processes in order to control the heat. Infinix has tried to solve this problem with their cooling system.

There is yet another feature introduced in the GT 50 Pro – the Explicit Viewport Design of the phone. In fact, it includes an additional window on the back of the device showing the water-cooling passages inside.

Still, the practical effectiveness of this technology will have to be evaluated through practical experiments. The game performance during long hours of playing, surface temperature, and frame rate stability will play a crucial role in determining the success of the innovation in comparison with regular cooling systems.

Mechanical Lighting Waves Bring Customisable RGB Effects

This phone will be powered by the Mechanical Lighting Waves, a system of lights, which includes four RGB light strips placed into the GT crosshair formation typical for this brand.

Lights may react to the incoming calls, gaming processes and even playing of music. According to the manufacturer, there are already 14 available lighting effects and eight options of colours that users can change. Thus, the users may personalise the rear lighting according to their taste.

Such an ability to personalise the RGB lights has become quite traditional for gaming phones, although its efficiency greatly depends on its integration with notifications and gaming processes. The current lighting system will allow combining the customisation of the phone with its alerting functions; thus, notifications may become more recognisable without using the screen.

The lighting system also complements the Cyber Macha-inspired design, reinforcing the smartphone's gaming-focused identity.

GT Trigger 2.0 Adds Dedicated Gaming Controls

GT Trigger 2.0 is yet another significant characteristic of the Infinix GT 50 Pro. It is a system that includes two pressure sensitive shoulder buttons installed in the upper parts of the device.

Users have the opportunity to map certain actions in games to these buttons which might help them use thumbs for movement and controlling the camera of the game only while performing any actions through the shoulder buttons. For example, aiming and shooting can be assigned to these buttons when playing compatible games.

It is worth mentioning that apart from gaming actions, GT Trigger 2.0 allows assigning any other functions to these buttons, like camera zoom and application launching.

Shoulder buttons will be helpful mainly for the gamers who use shooting games and other games where there is a need for simultaneous inputs by using these buttons. It should be noted that efficiency will greatly depend on the sensitivity of triggers, customization opportunities and compatibility of the game.

Together with the liquid cooling and RGB lighting, GT Trigger 2.0 makes the Infinix GT 50 Pro a more specialized device compared to an average mid-range phone.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Specifications and Features

Despite the fact that Infinix has not revealed the specifications of its Indian version officially yet, the phone is already available in the international market in Indonesia. Considering that the specs teased for India are similar to the specs of the global version of the phone, the current hardware will give an idea of the phone specifications for Indian consumers. Below are the specs you should expect in India.

Display and Performance

As far as the international variant of the Infinix GT 50 Pro is concerned, the smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS screen. The screen offers a 1.5K resolution and supports peak brightness up to 4,500 nits. This can help with improving visibility in bright areas but again, that depends on the content and operating conditions.

The smartphone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultimate chipset inside. As expected, the processor is capable of offering solid performance when it comes to multitasking, apps usage, and mobile gaming. Together with the cooling system, this could make Infinix GT 50 Pro an interesting phone for performance-oriented users.

At this moment, Infinix has not revealed anything about the memory and storage options for the Indian market. We will learn more closer to the launch date.

Battery and Charging

The international version of the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes equipped with a 6,500mAh battery, which is sure to impress gamers and video streamers alike due to its impressive capacity.

The phone comes with a fast charging capacity of 45W using wired charging technology, along with 30W wireless charging capabilities. The wireless charger is indeed a handy feature for this segment of users, especially for those who favor wireless charging over wired.

Should the specifications hold true in India, then the combination of a big battery with liquid cooling can easily become the USP of the device. However, in the end, battery performance is going to depend upon other factors as well.

Software and Updates

The international version comes with Android 16-based XOS 16. Infinix has stated that there will be five upgrades for the international version, which might help boost the value of the device over time through software support.

The company has yet to confirm the software update policy for the India version individually. Hence, the buyers have to wait for the India version announcement from the company for verification.

It is becoming an increasingly important factor to consider when purchasing a smartphone in the mid-range price segment due to consumer expectation for longevity with respect to using their smartphones over time. Together with the gaming performance, the software update policy might affect the appeal of the GT 50 Pro.

Camera Specifications

For photography, the global model is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor. A 13MP front-facing camera is also listed among the global variant's specifications.

While these cameras should cover everyday photography, video calls, and social media use, the GT 50 Pro appears to prioritise gaming and performance over advanced camera capabilities. Its real-world image quality will depend on sensor hardware, image processing, software optimisation, and lighting conditions.

Buyers who prioritise photography may want to compare its camera performance with alternatives in the same price range before making a decision.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Expected Price in India

The official price of the GT 50 Pro in India has yet to be announced by Infinix. Since it is expected to be mid-level, its exact positioning will be known after its release.

As a performance-driven device, it will compete against phones in POCO's range that are popular among people interested in gaming phones with powerful processors. The key factor for Infinix in such a situation is the appropriate pricing and proving that the cooling solution, the shoulder triggers, and the RGB lighting add value to the product.

The features of having wireless charging, a high-capacity battery, and an AMOLED screen might also contribute to making the phone more attractive.

At the moment, it is not recommended to use unconfirmed prices as references. The official release of the information on October 27 should give a better idea about the value of the product.

Should You Wait for the Infinix GT 50 Pro?

The Infinix GT 50 Pro looks promising for users who prioritise mobile gaming, distinctive styling, and additional hardware controls. Its HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system is designed to manage heat during demanding sessions, while GT Trigger 2.0 introduces physical shoulder buttons that could prove useful in compatible games. The large battery, AMOLED display, and RGB lighting system add to its appeal.

However, the smartphone's success will depend on more than its feature list. Sustained gaming performance, thermal behaviour, battery endurance, software support in India, and the final retail price will all play an important role in determining whether it is worth buying.

Existing Infinix GT users should also wait for independent performance tests and a detailed comparison with their current devices before deciding whether to upgrade. In particular, real-world testing will help establish whether the HydroFlow cooling technology delivers a noticeable improvement during longer gaming sessions.

With the India launch scheduled for October 27, interested buyers will not have to wait long for the remaining details. If Infinix gets the pricing right and delivers consistent gaming performance, the GT 50 Pro could become an interesting option for gamers seeking a feature-rich smartphone in the mid-range category.
