itel has launched the Zeno 100 Pro in India at Rs 8,599 with a 90Hz HD+ display, Unisoc T7100 chipset, military-grade durability, and a 5,000mAh battery. The company also introduced new Zeno 20,000mAh and 10,000mAh fast-charging power banks.

itel has added to its range of cost-effective smartphones in India through the launch of its latest itel Zeno 100 Pro smartphone that caters to those customers who want a cost-effective and dependable smartphone without investing a lot of money in it. Along with its new smartphone, it has launched two new accessories including itel Zeno 20,000 mAh power bank and itel Zeno 10,000 mAh power bank.
The starting price of the itel Zeno 100 Pro is as low as Rs. 8,599 and it is designed specifically for those customers who are purchasing a smartphone for the very first time, students, senior citizens, and customers who want a cost-effective secondary phone. The smartphone does not support 5G network but it offers reliability and practical features to users.
itel Zeno 100 Pro Price in India and Availability
The itel Zeno 100 Pro is priced at Rs 8,599 and is now available for purchase via Amazon India. Buyers can choose from three stylish colour options:
Comet Orange
Black
Cloud White
One of the biggest highlights of the device is its MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, which helps the phone withstand accidental drops and everyday impacts. This makes it one of the more rugged options available in the entry-level smartphone category.
Display
However, despite being affordable, the itel Zeno 100 Pro offers a 6.6-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Although HD+ screens aren't as crisp as those with full HD resolution used in high-end phones, a faster refresh rate offers smooth scroll and app switching experience as well as animated transitions.
In addition, the device boasts a Dynamic Bar, which is a notification bar inspired by high-end smartphones. This screen bar will show you calls, battery life, charge level, and notifications in a much better way. Also, when it comes to sound, the phone uses the DTS-powered speaker.
Durable Design
itel has certainly emphasized practicality with the Zeno 100 Pro. Apart from the military grade quality construction, itel Zeno 100 Pro features an IR Blaster, with which users can control their household devices such as TVs, ACs, set top boxes and all infrared based devices.
This feature of IR blaster is rare in this price range and provides additional utility for those who like to use their phone as a universal remote.
Entry-Level Performance
Under the hood, the itel Zeno 100 Pro is powered by the Unisoc T7100 processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The device also supports Memory Fusion technology, allowing users to virtually expand RAM by up to 5GB, improving multitasking for lightweight applications.
Performance-wise, the chipset is designed for basic daily tasks including:
Calling and messaging
WhatsApp and social media
Web browsing
Watching YouTube and OTT content
Online classes
Casual gaming
The same processor previously achieved an AnTuTu score of approximately 203,558, indicating that it is suitable for entry-level workloads rather than demanding gaming or heavy multitasking.
Android 15 Go Edition Software
The device comes with Android 15 Go Edition, which is the light version of Android developed by Google specifically for low-powered hardware.
Though Android Go aids in ensuring faster performance on budget devices, the OS looks somewhat outdated due to the impending release of Android 17. Nonetheless, it is enough for people who give priority to affordable over modern software.
Cameras
For photography, the itel Zeno 100 Pro features:
8MP rear camera
5MP front selfie camera
These cameras are primarily designed for casual photography, video calling, document scanning, and social media sharing rather than professional photography.
5,000mAh Battery with Charger Included
Keeping the device running is a 5,000mAh battery, which should comfortably last a full day of regular usage.
The phone supports 10W wired charging, and unlike some brands that have removed chargers from the retail box, itel continues to bundle the charger with the smartphone, making it a complete package for budget-conscious buyers.

While it is evident that the itel Zeno 100 Pro does not pose any threat to premium smartphones, the phone can serve the purpose of providing a reliable experience for customers looking for affordability and durability among others. Features such as 90Hz display, military-grade build quality, IR blaster, bigger battery capacity, and an included charger make it a good product overall.
It is also worth noting that some customers will be disappointed by the fact that there is no 5G connectivity and Android 15 Go Edition used on the phone, which can be attributed to its affordable pricing strategy. Increasing costs of phone components have made it difficult for smartphone companies to offer 5G technology below Rs 10,000.
In terms of usability, this phone can suit first-time users of a smartphone, students, seniors and those who want to have a backup phone. On the other hand, new models of Zeno power bank include Zeno 20,000mAh and 10,000mAh, which will enable fast charging at affordable prices.
