JioHotstar has started rolling out a Re 1 Premium subscription for selected users. Here's who is eligible, how to claim it, and everything included in the 30-day Premium plan.
It appears that the JioHotstar app has silently started offering a fantastic promotion that would allow some people to get their hands on a JioHotstar Premium plan at an unbelievable price of Re 1. Even though the plan sounds too good to be true, there is a twist to it as well because not everybody will be eligible for it. The temporary plan will be offered to select users through a roll-out process from the company's side.

To become eligible, you must log in using a Jio mobile number that does not currently have any JioHotstar subscription. If you do, then even if you satisfy the condition, the offer is open to selected users only.
In case your account is one of those, then you will get the Re 1 Premium plan offer in the subscription section of JioHotstar application. This offer can be redeemed only once, and your Premium membership will remain valid for 30 days after activation.
It seems that the rollout is going to happen gradually; hence some users might get the offer later, although there has been no official confirmation in this regard yet.
How to Claim the Re 1 JioHotstar Premium Offer
If your account is eligible, activating the promotional subscription is a straightforward process.
Follow these steps:
Open the JioHotstar app.
Sign in using your eligible Jio mobile number.
Tap on My Space or your profile.
Open the Subscriptions section.
Look for the Re 1 Premium Plan.
Select the plan if it appears.
Complete the payment using UPI, debit card, credit card, or any supported payment method.
Once the payment is successful, your JioHotstar Premium membership should be activated within a short time.
Some Users Found Another Way to Access the Offer
In addition to the usual process within the application, some users have come up with a second approach that could work.
As it was revealed from the experiences of users described on the internet, launching the promotion page in an incognito browser and logging in using a valid Jio number made the Re 1 offer visible for these people. But this is not a sure-fire way.
The fact remains that this promotion is available only if your account is chosen by JioHotstar, regardless of the approach you use.
