Moto G06 Power Launches in India with 7000mAh Battery and 120Hz Display Under ₹7499

India's budget smartphone market below ₹10,000 has become stiff, with players such as Lava, Tecno, and Infinix leaving no stone unturned by leveraging better performance, looks, and battery life. But Motorola has now set up shop here with a big bang, bringing out its new device the Moto G06 Power at just ₹7,499. This latest smartphone is set to revolutionize stamina on the budget segment, owing to its humongous 7000mAh battery, a first on this budget level.

Moto G06 Power

Targeted at Power Users and Media Enthusiasts

Motorola's intention with the Moto G06 Power is obvious endurance battery life and entertainment. The brand is appealing to those who need a phone with a long battery life for content viewing, calling, and general usage without the need to repeatedly recharge. Unlike most phones that seek to prioritize camera performance or chipset capabilities, the G06 Power takes a concentrate approach to providing great battery life, colorful design, and superior build with Pantone-select colors and a vegan leather back.

Huge 7000mAh Battery with TurboPower Charging

The Moto G06 Power's standout feature is its 7000mAh battery, which the company promises will last for three days on a single charge. With 20W TurboPower fast charging support, the phone can allegedly provide up to seven hours of usage in 15 minutes. Budget smartphones have a maximum charging speed of 18W, which means Motorola has an easy win here.

Motorola also promises long-term battery health, stating that it retains over 80% capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles. This makes the G06 Power ideal for users who plan to keep their phone for several years without worrying about battery degradation.

Large 120Hz Display and Immersive Audio

The Moto G06 Power features a 6.88-inch HD+ screen with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and High Brightness Mode up to 600 nits, providing clear and smooth visuals indoors or outdoors. The Gorilla Glass 3 protection provides additional resilience, and the Dolby Atmos stereo speakers provide a richer multimedia experience, offering movies, music, and games in greater depth.

This mix of big screen + high refresh rate + Dolby sound is not common in sub-₹10,000 phones, making this of immense strength for Motorola among entertainment-seekers.

Great Cameras for the Price

On the camera side, Moto G06 Power comes with a 50MP Quad Pixel main camera that has AI-assisted portrait and Night Vision modes, and an 8MP selfie camera with group selfie and automatic retouch features. These AI features enhance image quality, particularly in low light, and turn the G06 Power into a reliable device for everyday photography and social media sharing.

Clean Android 15 with Moto Enhancements

The smartphone features Android 15, a stock-like Android experience with Motorola's My UX customisation. The phone has Moto Gestures, Google Gemini, Circle to Search, Moto Secure, and ThinkShield privacy and convenience protection. Motorola's light UI provides the phone with a clean, fast, and ad-free experience something that differentiates it from other budget phones full of bloatware.

Solid Performance with Expandable RAM

Powering the gadget is the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme chipset, alongside 4GB RAM (expandable to 12GB through RAM Boost) and 64GB internal memory, expandable to 1TB using a microSD card. Although the processor is not gaming-optimized, it provides seamless everyday usage for multitasking, surfing, and streaming.

Premium Design and Durability

Motorola has also been mindful of aesthetics, providing the Moto G06 Power in three Pantone-chosen colors Tapestry, Laurel Oak, and Tendril. The vegan leather back with a soft touch provides a premium feel in the hand, and the IP64 rating provides dust and light splash protection, a nice-to-have feature that is standard in this segment.

Moto G06 Power definitely raises the bar for budget phones costing less than ₹10,000. Its enormous 7000mAh battery, big 120Hz screen, Dolby Atmos speakers, and top-of-the-line premium leather finish make it a great pick for users who value battery life, entertainment, and aesthetics over gaming capability. Heavy gamers might prefer better in slightly more expensive models like Tecno Spark Go 5G or Lava Blaze Dragon, but the G06 Power excels as a budget-packed all-rounder for the common user.
