Following up on the Motorola Edge 70, which was launched in December last year, Motorola is preparing to launch the Edge 70 Fusion in its popular Edge series. The Edge 70 Fusion will be the first Edge series smartphone of 2026. The device will be available on Flipkart, indicating an imminent launch. According to Flipkart, new details about the phone will be revealed on February 23rd, but the company has not yet announced an official launch date.
In terms of design and build quality, the phone will feature a leather-inspired finish. It will come in three Pantone-selected color options: Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette. It is expected to feature a slim profile and curved edge design, and a textured back panel. The device is also expected to come with an IP68 + IP69 rating, making it dust and water resistant.
The phone's rear is expected to feature a triple camera setup housed in a square-shaped camera module. Sony LYTIA camera sensors have been confirmed, and it's likely to feature a 50MP primary camera. A 32MP front camera is expected for selfies. The company's teaser clearly indicates that the phone will focus on photography.
It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved pOLED display with support for up to 144Hz refresh rates, meaning the phone will run smoothly. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i is expected for screen protection.
Additionally, according to several reports shared by YTECHB, the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The phone could also come in two variants: 8GB and 12GB of RAM.
The phone is expected to feature a large 7,000mAh battery, which is also found in many other phones in the market. It may also support 68W fast wired charging.
