Nothing CMF Phone 3 Pro

It has been nearly a year since the launch of the CMF Phone 2 Pro from Nothing's budget-focused sub-brand, CMF and the company is now poised to launch its new CMF Phone 3 Pro soon. This device will serve as the successor to last year's CMF Phone 2 Pro. While no official information regarding the phone is currently available, a recent leak has shed some light on its specifications.

Given that the CMF Phone 2 Pro was launched in April 2025, it is likely that Nothing will schedule the launch of the CMF Phone 3 Pro for Q2 2026 (around April or May). This phone is expected to fall within the ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 price segment; true to CMF's ethos, the brand's focus will remain as always on design and balanced features.

According to an exclusive report by AndroidHeadlines, the CMF Phone 3 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, whereas its predecessor, the Phone 2 Pro, was equipped with a Snapdragon chip. The Snapdragon chipset is expected to deliver better optimization, stable performance, and an improved gaming experience. This shift brings CMF closer to other brands in this segment. The previous-generation model housed a 5,000mAh battery, while the upcoming model is expected to feature a 5,400mAh or 5,500mAh battery. Furthermore, the new model may support 45W fast charging an improvement over the 33W charging available in its predecessor. Additionally, the phone will offer 5W reverse wired charging capabilities.

Nothing's sub-brand, CMF, is expected to utilize a design for the Phone 3 Pro that is similar to that of last year's model. On the front, you will find a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Stereo speakers are also expected to be included; overall, the display setup is likely to remain largely similar to that of the previous model.

Speaking of the CMF Phone 3 Pro's camera setup, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera; meanwhile, a 16MP front camera is positioned on the front for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the telephoto camera offers 120x digital zoom. While this zoom capability provides greater flexibility, image quality at high zoom levels remains to be seen. Furthermore, a slight alteration in the camera layout is expected.

In terms of design, the modular layout will likely remain largely unchanged; however, the camera layout may undergo modifications, the position of the flash could be altered, and the third camera might feature a slightly different placement. The most significant change in this handset is expected to be the shift from a plastic frame to a metal frame. This metal frame is anticipated to deliver a more premium feel and superior build quality.

Now, let's talk about the pricing. The CMF Phone 2 Pro launched with a starting price of ₹18,999, whereas the expected price for the CMF Phone 3 Pro could range between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000. The price hike is likely due to the various upgrades. While the official launch date has not yet been revealed, leaks suggest that a launch is possible within the coming weeks.
