Nothing has teased an upcoming product featuring Kingdra, a Water-type Pokémon, sparking speculation about the Nothing Ear (3) Pro. Here's what we know about its expected features, possible upgrades, pricing, and launch timeline.

Nothing Ear (3) Pro

It does not seem like any brand is gearing up to release a new flagship product for its wireless earbuds line-up, possibly dubbed the Nothing Ear (3) Pro. Nothing has released a mysterious teaser on its community page, which includes Kingdra, a Water-type Pokémon, with a “Coming Soon” statement written below it. While the company hasn’t confirmed anything regarding the name of the product and launch date, the teaser seems to confirm that the brand may be planning to release its first Pro earbuds.

This comes after the revelation of a support page supposedly belonging to the Nothing Ear (3) Pro. According to a Redditor named Link_2011A, who found the page some two months back, the support page reportedly connected the earbuds with the codename “Kingdra.” This support page was soon removed, but its recent appearance in the teaser has fueled rumors about the future audio product from the company.

Nothing Ear (3) Pro Launch Could Be Around the Corner

The teaser was posted by one of Nothing’s team members on the official page for Nothing’s community. It involves the Pokémon Kingdra with the description, "It sleeps deeply in the ocean floor to gain its power. It is reported to create tornadoes upon waking." Additionally, the post is accompanied by a “Coming Soon” text, which indicates that the company will soon make an announcement.

Previously, Nothing referred to its products using the names of Pokémon characters, but it has not developed any pattern of using specific Pokémon names or their types in relation to certain product lines. As a result, mentioning Kingdra does not guarantee that the coming product will be a pair of wireless earbuds. Despite this fact, the previous discovery about the support page suggests that the Nothing Ear (3) Pro can be considered as a viable candidate.

At the moment, the name of the product, its specifications, and release date have not been announced yet.

Where the Nothing Ear (3) Pro Could Fit in the Lineup

There were no releases of the standard Ear (3) in September 2025, followed by the cheaper Ear (3a) in July 2026. With the launch of the speculated Nothing Ear (3) Pro, it would come in above the existing two products and be intended for people who are willing to buy an upgrade to their wireless audio experience.

Such a product can also enable the company to enter the expensive earbuds market, where devices like Apple AirPods Pro 3 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are made for the consumers seeking enhanced noise cancellation and audio experience.

However, the company needs to have something unique to differentiate the Pro version from the existing ones and to justify its cost. As the regular Ear (3) comes with many advanced audio capabilities, the Pro variant needs to add some noticeable features to the list.

Nothing Ear (3) Pro Specifications and Features (Expected)

No information about specifications for the upcoming earbuds is known yet, but the currently available model of Nothing Ear (3) gives a hint on what can be included in the next premium audio product from the company.

The current model of Nothing Ear (3) includes the following characteristics: 12mm dynamic drivers, active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 45 dB, support of the LDAC audio codec, and Static Spatial Audio. All these characteristics can become the basis for development of the Pro model of the earbuds, but it is still unknown whether it will be equipped with advanced hardware or audio settings.

Another characteristic that can be improved is battery life because currently there is only a 55mAh battery, which allows using the earbuds for up to 10 hours. But a charging case can be used for wireless charging.

The company could also focus on more effective noise cancellation, better microphone performance for calls, and refined sound tuning. Improvements to spatial audio and the overall listening experience could help distinguish the Pro model from the standard Ear (3).

The existing earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Whether Nothing will improve the durability rating on the Pro version remains unknown.

Nothing Ear (3) Pro Price and Availability

There has not been anything revealed about the price and availability of the speculated Ear (3) Pro yet. The launch date is also unknown, even with the "Coming Soon" message on the latest teaser.

Should the earbuds come as a premium product, the price becomes an important part when considering how they stack up against the regular Ear (3) as well as other premium wireless earbuds. Nothing would have to consider offering the best features with a good price for those that could possibly look at Apple's or Samsung's products.

Nothing could possibly disclose more details on its community page or even through future teasers, although it is unknown when they would do so.

Should You Wait for the Nothing Ear (3) Pro?

People interested in buying the latest Nothing earbuds should wait until they officially reveal their product because the usual Ear (3) already includes such features like LDAC technology, active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and wireless charging, making it a worthy choice for those who seek premium earbuds without wires.

Nevertheless, it is worth taking into account if the new Pro model brings improvements in terms of noise cancellation, increased battery life, improved sound quality, and better calls.

Right now, the Nothing Ear (3) Pro has not been revealed yet. However, the Kingdra tease, as well as the previously leaked support page for the device, imply that they are about to introduce a new product, although its full name, technical specifications, price, and release date are unknown at the moment.
