OnePlus N6 Lite Officially Teased for India With a Big Battery Focus
OnePlus has officially teased the N6 Lite in India. The upcoming budget smartphone could launch this month as the brand’s most affordable phone yet, with a big battery and flat design.
OnePlus is all set to introduce another budget phone under its series in India. OnePlus has already introduced the OnePlus N6 Lite as part of its N series, and this phone will be the third in the series. The news comes just after some speculations about the arrival of the OnePlus N6 Lite as the most affordable smartphone by OnePlus.
OnePlus N6 Lite India Launch Teased on Amazon
Through a special microsite on Amazon, OnePlus has hinted at the launch of the new N6 Lite smartphone in India. Although OnePlus has not given out all details about the specifications of the upcoming smartphone, the teaser gives us a glimpse of the design of the phone.
The design of OnePlus N6 Lite seems to be similar to the newly released phones, OnePlus N6 and N6x. As seen in the teaser, the upcoming smartphone comes in green color but OnePlus has not officially stated whether this will be the only available color or there will be other variants as well.
The tagline used by OnePlus for its upcoming smartphone is “Powerfully Big” which suggests that either the battery life or the entire display experience might be one of the key aspects.
Based on current information, the OnePlus N6 Lite can be introduced in India by the month of September. Also, the device is expected to be the cheapest device by OnePlus till date, possibly even cheaper than the OnePlus N6x.
OnePlus N6x is currently priced at 20,999 Rupees and is the most affordable device in the N series range of OnePlus. Assuming that the rumors about the pricing of OnePlus N6 Lite are true, then the future device might push OnePlus towards a new price range which could make it more accessible to customers with budget constraints.
But just the pricing of a device does not guarantee success for the device. OnePlus would have to make a proper balance of affordability and specifications of the phone, especially when it comes to competition from other brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Motorola and Samsung.
Despite not being fully disclosed yet, the N6 Lite could give us hints about the phone specifications through its positioning. The current OnePlus N6x comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen that has a 120Hz refresh rate and is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset.
