OPPO F35 Series Confirmed for India With a Huge Battery and Premium Design
OPPO has confirmed the F35 Series for the Indian market. The F35 Pro is tipped to bring a massive 10,000mAh battery, 120Hz OLED display, 50MP cameras and a premium price tag.

OPPO has made the official announcement of the imminent release of the new F35 Series phones in India, dispelling rumors that have been making rounds lately about OPPO’s next F-series handset. This news comes on the heels of the teaser released by OPPO yesterday, but OPPO has yet to share any information on the models to be launched and the date of their release.
The teaser image only gives the viewers a hint about the new phone. One can see only the top part of a handset with rounded corners, thin frame, and punch-hole camera for selfies located right in the middle. Most of the phone is not visible because of a dark silhouette, but its outline is emphasized by the orange color.
OPPO F35 Series India Launch Details
OPPO has decided to keep all the critical information a secret for now. The brand has not yet shared the price, specs and release date of the F35 Series smartphone in India. However, the F series phones have always been designed as the upper mid-range phones with stylish design and good cameras among other user-focused features.
It was previously rumored that this time around OPPO might consider launching the F35 Series in a premium price range. There will be an F35 Pro smartphone that OPPO will bring to India. It is priced between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 and is said to be the modified version of the OPPO A7 Pro Max. This smartphone has been modified for the Indian market.
Assuming the information about the F35 Pro's price is true, it will be considerably higher than its predecessor. The OPPO F33 and F33 Pro smartphones were introduced to India with prices Rs 31,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively. Price over Rs 40,000 will make it compete with smartphones like Vivo S2 and Motorola Edge 70 Pro.
OPPO F35 Pro Could Pack a 10,000mAh Battery
What might be considered the main selling point of OPPO F35 Pro is its whopping 10,000mAh battery. The battery size, if these speculations turn out to be true, will be much bigger compared to 7,000mAh found in F33 Pro. This type of battery may prove very helpful for the phone users who prefer longer battery life and charging their phone less often.
According to the leaks, another specification that the smartphone is expected to have is its 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED screen, which will work at a 120Hz refresh rate. Concerning its hardware, there are suggestions that the phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset along with UFS 3.1. As for the camera, the smartphone could have a 50MP rear and 50MP front cameras made by Samsung JN5 with autofocus and 100 degrees FOV.
Finally, the phone might boast high reliability. The leaks claim that the phone will have IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings, which means that the device will be protected from dust and water. But keep in mind that these specs have not been officially confirmed by the company yet.
Can a 10,000mAh Battery Justify the Price?
A 10,000mAh battery could definitely make the F35 Pro an attractive choice, yet battery capacity alone might not justify such a high price point as Rs 40,000+. In fact, several budget smartphones are currently expected to come equipped with a massive battery capacity, which means that they could prove to be OPPO's worthy competitors.
It could get even worse for the F35 Pro since Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is already being teased in India with a 10,000mAh battery. Its official release date is September 15. Should it come out at roughly the same price point, OPPO would have to do something other than pack its smartphone with a huge battery to make it stand out among the rest.
As of now, it could make sense for potential customers willing to spend about Rs 40,000 on their new smartphone to wait for OPPO to unveil its entire lineup of the F35 devices. The F35 Pro could turn out to be a very interesting smartphone if OPPO could combine its 10,000mAh battery with fast charging and excellent camera performance.
