OPPO Find X9 Ultra Global Launch Expected with 200MP Camera and 10x Optical Zoom

Yesterday, OPPO confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will be its first 'Ultra' flagship to launch globally. It may also be introduced in India. However, it's important to note that this is significant news because for the first time, the company is launching an Ultra model of its Find X series outside of China.

The Find X9 Ultra reportedly features OPPO's most advanced imaging system yet, meaning camera capabilities developed in-house. OPPO did this in collaboration with Hasselblad, a former OnePlus partner. Speaking to OPPO media at MWC Barcelona, ​​OPPO Europe CEO Elvis Zhou said that in 2026, several 'Ultra' devices will be introduced.

This phone will be the top-end model in the company's new Find X9 series, which already includes the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are already available in India, and the Find X9 Ultra is expected to launch in India soon. According to OPPO, the Find X9 Ultra will be introduced with the tagline "Built to Be Your Next Camera."

It is expected to have a quad-camera setup with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera (1/1.28-inch sensor), a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, a 200MP main camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Overall, the phone is expected to have a quad-camera setup. OPPO may use Sony's LYT-901 camera sensor, which is the company's new 200-megapixel sensor measuring approximately 1-inch. This could be used for the main camera.
