POCO Pad M1 Full Specs Price and Features Revealed Ahead of Launch

POCO is once again ramping up its tablet lineup, and this time, the brand is all set to introduce its highly-anticipated POCO Pad M1. With the entire specifications, renders, and expected pricing leaked online, the tablet indeed seems like one of the potent contenders in the mid-range Android tablet segment. From a high-refresh-rate display to a massive battery and the latest HyperOS 2 software, the POCO Pad M1 packs some solid hardware directed towards entertainment, productivity, and light gaming. Here's everything you need to know about it.

POCO Pad M1

POCO Pad M1 Display

The POCO Pad M1 offers a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels for sharp clarity in movies, reading, and work apps. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate on this screen to ensure smoother animations, faster scrolling, and generally a more responsive UI.

Whether one is binge-watching content, multitasking, or sketching with a stylus-if supported later-the large display promises an immersive experience while remaining compact for everyday portability.

POCO Pad M1 Performance

Under the hood, the POCO Pad M1 runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. This mid-range but efficient processor should deliver reliable performance for media consumption, gaming at balanced settings, and multitasking across apps. Paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, users can look forward to quick load times, stable application performance, and decent overall speed.

POCO is likely to launch the tablet in at least one major variant:

8GB RAM + 256GB storage, which also supports expansion through microSD.

POCO Pad M1 Cameras

Tablets are very rarely camera-centric, and the POCO Pad M1 follows the same practical approach. It uses an 8MP camera on its rear for document scanning and casual shots. For online classes, Google Meet, Zoom calls, or social apps, it comes with an 8MP front camera. With HyperOS 2, users should see much better optimizations in the software, which means clearer selfies and a cleaner video call quality.

POCO Pad M1 Battery

One of the biggest highlights of the POCO Pad M1 is its battery life. It comes fitted with a huge 12,000mAh battery that comfortably sees the tablet through full days of multimedia usage, gaming sessions, online classes, or continuous reading.

To back this up, POCO includes 33W fast charging support. While that is not the fastest in the industry, it's good enough to refill the gigantic battery in reasonable time and to keep the device ready for long sessions.

Software

The POCO Pad M1 will run Android 15 based on HyperOS 2, Xiaomi’s latest UI straight out of the box, with smoother animations, improved multitasking, better privacy controls, and enhanced features for productivity. HyperOS is optimized for larger screens, from floating windows to split-screen apps and even more efficient system navigation.

Quad Speakers, microSD Support & Modern Connectivity

The tablet comes with quad stereo speakers and is perfect for streaming, gaming, and music. It includes a welcome addition of a microSD slot for users who want extra storage space for videos, files, or offline media.

Connectivity options include:

  • Wi-Fi 6

  • Bluetooth 5.4

  • USB 2.0 port

  • IP53 dust- and splash-resistance rating

These features make the POCO Pad M1 more durable and reliable for everyday use, even for school or outdoor work environments.

Design, Dimensions & Build Quality

Renders reveal a premium yet minimalistic design approach from POCO. The device measures:

  • 279.8 × 181.65 × 7.5 mm

  • Weight: 610g

Despite its large display, POCO has kept the thickness in check, making it a comfortable device to carry around or hold during long video sessions.

POCO Pad M1 Expected Price

According to the leaked information, the POCO Pad M1 is expected to be priced at:

  • EUR 349 (RRP) for 8GB + 256GB

This positions the tablet as a strong competitor against offerings from Realme, Redmi, Samsung, and Lenovo in the mid-range Android tablet market.

On paper, it looks like the POCO Pad M1 manages to check all boxes of a powerful, large-screen Android tablet without breaking the bank. It has everything going in its favor to become noticeable in its segment: a strong display, big battery, quad speakers, capable chipset, and the latest HyperOS 2.

If POCO manages to price it aggressively in India, the Pad M1 may well become one of the best-value tablets of 2025.
