Realme 16 Pro Series 5G Camera Module Design Officially Revealed Ahead of India Launch

Realme is gathering momentum with their upcoming Realme 16 Pro Series 5G, launching soon in the Indian market. Leaks and teasers of the upcoming devices have gained traction over the past couple of weeks, sharing crucial information about the devices. Realme is adding more fuel to this fire by revealing that they are officially teasing the camera module of the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G, allowing us a small glimpse into what is to come with Realme’s new premium mid-range series.

Realme 16 Pro Series 5G

This new design of the camera module is almost identical to the previous leaked design render for the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G. This smartphone sports a squircle camera module that is placed on the back of the phone, making it look unique. Atop this setup stands a pill camera compartment, which contains two camera sensors that are arranged side by side.

Underneath this pill-shaped component, the module contains two circular cutouts, which are for the additional camera sensor and the LED flash. This is an example of a multi-layer design, ensuring that the camera module takes on a premium look without SYMMETRY, which Realme has also been promoting with their recent smartphone models.

As Realme unwraps the design for the camera module, it has also announced LumaColor Image technology for the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G. Though Realme is yet to provide any information about its technical features, it is likely that the name of the technology aims to enhance the image clarity, lowlight images, or the color reproduction of the images. This implies that the company is trying to make a significant statement with its camera features.

Realme 16 Pro Series 5G

According to the latest advice and buzz in the trade, the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G is likely to be launched in India on January 6, 2025. However, it is pertinent to recall here that Realme still has not made any official announcements about the launch of the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G. But what is significant here is the fact that the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G webpage is already live on the Realme India website.

Moreover, Realme 16 Pro 5G handsets were spotted on 3C and TENAA certification websites. Such handsets tend to appear on certification platforms before their official release, indicating that the devices are almost ready for their markets. Though the information does not state much about the device specifications, it explicitly verifies that such devices are ready for their markets.

Realme is expected to offer generous storage options for both models in the lineup. The Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G are tipped to arrive in the following configurations:

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage

  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage

  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage

Color options are also another avenue Realme seems to be making some differentiation between the two models. The Realme 16 Pro 5G comes in Pebble Grey, Master Gold, and Orchid Purple color options, while the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G can come in Master Grey, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink color variants. In this manner, users can get a good mix of both subtle and bold choices.

The camera design is now officially out, and so is the product page, meaning Realme has entered the last phase of its teaser campaign. More official updates are expected in the coming days, which should shed light on display, processor, battery, charging, and camera details of the Realme 16 Pro Series 5G.

For now, confirmed design elements and teased imaging technology indicate that Realme is trying to push a fashion smartphone with strong camera capabilities in the competitive 5G segment.
