Realme P4s

Realme is all set to bring out its popular P series lineup in India through the release of its latest model Realme P4s 5G, which is slated to be launched on August 26. This upcoming smartphone seems to be specifically targeted at people looking for a phone that offers both good battery backup, gaming capabilities, and a high-resolution screen. The company has already shared some major specifications of the upcoming phone.

Some of the most important features of the Realme P4s are an 8000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, a 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate and Hyper Vision Gaming Chip. The phone is also expected to offer gaming experience up to 144FPS in supported games. The estimated cost of this phone is likely to be close to Rs 30,000.

Realme P4s Design and Build

This mobile phone is designed to make it look premium but still have practical handling in one's hand. In spite of having such a huge capacity of a battery as 8000 mAh, the manufacturer assures that it won't feel too heavy. It is built using high-quality materials and designed to be held well.

As far as its design on the front side is concerned, it has very thin bezels around the display screen and a hole cutout in the center for a camera. Speaking of its design at the back side, it has got two cameras at the back side along with an LED flash.

The power button and the volume buttons are located at the right side of the phone. The bottom part of the device has USB Type C charging port as well as the loudspeaker grill.

Durability is yet another very important feature of the Realme P4s phone. It has IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings and is protected against dust and splashes of water, even in tough environments. This should be very helpful to people who use smartphones outdoors.

Display

The upcoming Realme P4s has reportedly been given a 1.5K panel utilizing Samsung's M14 display technology. The screen is known for providing vibrant colours, bright output, and power-efficient operation, and all that can prove particularly helpful given the smartphone's emphasis on having long battery life.

With 144Hz refresh rate, this screen allows for smooth scrolling, animation playback, and gaming performance. As for the other notable thing about it – peak brightness of up to 6500 nits is being emphasized by the company.

Speaking of features that may appeal to mobile gamers, 144Hz refresh rate seems to stand out the most. Along with the gaming-grade hardware, the Realme P4s appears to be a mobile device offering smooth gaming performance without getting into ultra-high-end category.

MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra Powers the Realme P4s

The Realme P4s is expected to come with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip, built using the 4nm process. The processor is expected to clock up to 2.6GHz and has allegedly scored a 10,47,842 AnTuTu score.

However, the company is not counting on the processing power alone for gaming. The smartphone also features a Hyper Vision Gaming Chip that ensures better gaming performance, including up to 144 FPS in supported games such as BGMI.

Another key aspect of the device’s gaming-related hardware is the heat management. The cooling system of the Realme P4s includes a very large VC cooling chamber measuring 7000mm², and this feature will help keep the device cool while playing demanding games.

In terms of the software, the new phone will use the Realme UI built on top of Android OS.

Realme P4s Camera Setup

For the camera, the Realme P4s would have a dual rear camera setup with LED flash. The first camera would be a 50-megapixel OIS sensor.

The inclusion of OIS would allow the camera to stabilize the device and minimize the effect of vibrations while taking pictures or videos, especially at night or while moving. Alongside the first sensor, there would be an AI secondary sensor, with a high-resolution selfie camera on the front.

In spite of the fact that the Realme P4s would mainly be marketed for gaming purposes and battery life, the inclusion of OIS in the first sensor shows that Realme wants to create a balanced experience in their smartphones.

Massive 8000mAh Battery With 80W Charging

The battery life is arguably one of the best features of the Realme P4s. It comes with a 8000mAh battery, which is quite massive compared to the batteries used in most of the smartphones in the market.

The capacity is expected to enable the user to use the device to game, watch movies, browse social media sites and even use the 5G network without having constant thoughts of the battery running out of power. The company says that the battery will stay healthy for six years, showing that it places a lot of emphasis on the durability of its products.

Even though the battery size is massive, it offers a 80W fast charging technology.

Connectivity and Other Features

Realme P4s will have 5G connectivity, allowing users to enjoy this advanced feature with the growing 5G networks in India. Additional connectivity options of the smartphone will be Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi and USB Type-C port.

Another feature to mention is stereo speakers. This feature will help the users to get a better sound quality while playing games, watching movies or listening to songs. Along with high refresh rate display, stereo speakers make the phone perfect for multimedia consumption.

Realme P4s Expected Price and Launch Date

The release date of the Realme P4s in India has been set by Realme on August 26. The expected price for this device will be close to Rs 30,000. However, the final price and available variants will be disclosed at the time of launch.

By having 8000mAh battery capacity, 80W fast charging capability, Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, game-specific chip, 144Hz 1.5K screen, and many IP ratings, the Realme P4s seems to cater to those who require high performance but also great battery endurance.
