Samsung Galaxy A08, M08 and F08 Launched in India With Helio G99+ and 6,000mAh Batteries
Samsung has launched the Galaxy A08 in India and listed the Galaxy M08 and F08 as coming soon. The new budget phones feature the Helio G99+ chipset, 50MP cameras, large batteries and six years of software support.

The Korean multinational electronics giant has released a trio of its new smartphones under the Galaxy name in India the Galaxy A08, the Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08. The three phones are aimed at people who are looking for smartphones that offer reliable performance, long-lasting batteries and software support, but not the 5G capabilities. The Galaxy A08 is available now for purchasing, while Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 are marked as coming soon.
The Samsung Galaxy A08 was released in India starting October 1, while the release and prices of Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 have not been disclosed yet. The specifications of all the three phones are identical – the MediaTek Helio G99+ processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory and 4G capability, which makes the trio of phones look like an option for budget-conscious consumers.
Samsung Galaxy A08 Price in India
The Samsung Galaxy A08 price in India has been fixed at Rs 18,499 for the variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. The device comes in three colour varieties - Dark Blue, Silver and Green and can be bought from Samsung’s official website, Samsung exclusive stores and other online retail sites.
Samsung has also introduced zero-interest EMI schemes using various payment methods, which might increase the Galaxy A08 sales among customers who like to buy phones through EMIs. But for a price like that, the device will find itself competing with smartphones having better displays, 5G support and/or higher processing power.
The Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 models currently share the same specifications as those in the Galaxy A08 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. No information has been revealed by Samsung about the pricing, colour choices and launch dates of the two models. For your information, Samsung Galaxy M07 and Galaxy F07 were released in October 2025 at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,699, respectively.
Galaxy A08, M08 and F08 Display
The South Korean firm has outfitted the three handsets with large 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD screens. The Galaxy A08 is capable of running at a 90Hz refresh rate, allowing for smoother scrolling through menu interfaces, social media applications, and websites compared to the standard 60Hz display.
While Samsung has noted a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels on its listing pages for both Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 smartphones, Samsung has failed to reveal the refresh rates of the two smartphones yet. However, these large screens will be ideal for video playback, web surfing, and social media interaction but the HD+ display resolution will make them slightly less sharp compared to Full HD+.
MediaTek Helio G99+ and 4GB RAM
Galaxy A08, M08, and F08 are driven by the MediaTek Helio G99+ processor. The processor works together with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in all three phone models. The amount of storage can be increased up to 2TB using a microSD card.
These devices are primarily designed to be used for the regular tasks on the phone. WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, web browsers, and other similar applications will be perfectly suitable for running on these devices. Although, the Helio G99+ with only 4GB of RAM is not enough to ensure great gaming or multitasking experience.
50MP Camera Setup
Samsung has equipped all three handsets with a dual camera arrangement comprising a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The 8MP selfie camera takes care of selfies and videocalls.
While a 50MP main camera should offer adequate pixel density for general shooting, especially when the lighting is favorable, the actual performance of the camera would depend on Samsung’s image processing and optimization capabilities.
6,000mAh Battery and 25W Charging
The Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 both have battery power as one of the key features. Both feature 6,000mAh batteries, which is better than that of their predecessors, and might be sufficient enough to last a whole day of normal usage.
The line comes with 25W charging capability, but the charger itself is sold separately. With such a large battery and a not too powerful hardware, the device can become particularly attractive for people who prefer long battery life rather than top performance specs.
Both the Galaxy M08 and F08 come with a weight of 197g and are 8mm thick. The Galaxy A08 also comes with IP64 protection from dust and water splashes.
Six Years of Software and Security Updates
The primary benefit that the budget-friendly Galaxy handsets have is their software capabilities. Specifically, Galaxy A08, M08, and F08 are to be offered six generations of Android OS updates along with six years of security updates.
That is one of the key factors since most budget-friendly smartphones will be used by people for several years before being replaced with something else. This may increase the demand of these handsets due to a longer period during which users can use them.
Apart from that, Samsung has added Circle to Search, Quick Share and Knox technologies that give several key software components to more affordable handsets.
Galaxy M08 and F08 Prices Could Decide Their Value
Though the Galaxy A08 is available to consumers, the Galaxy M08 and Galaxy F08 are still officially tagged as devices "coming soon." The prices of these new smartphones will be crucial to know since the prior Galaxy M07 and F07 have been released at more affordable prices.
The new Galaxy series features improvements such as the Helio G99+ processor, bigger 6,000mAh batteries, and longer software support. Nevertheless, consumers would need to wait for Samsung to announce the prices of the Galaxy M08 and F08, which will determine how competitive these budget phones will be within the Indian market.
For now, the Galaxy A08 is the only member of the new set that consumers can actually buy. The big 6.7-inch display, 50MP rear camera, 6,000mAh battery line-up, expandable storage, and six years of security patches show Samsung’s efforts in designing user-friendly smartphones.
