Samsung is gearing up to bolster its tablet portfolio with the release of value-based Galaxy Tab A11 series, which should go on sale quite soon in international markets, including India. This follows shortly after the South Korean tech giant launched its premium tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, last month. Unlike the premium offerings, the Galaxy Tab A11 series is designed for price-sensitive buyers looking for a value-based tablet for light usage.

Although Samsung has not officially revealed any details about the upcoming tablets, a new report from renowned leaker WinFuture has unveiled detailed specifications and images of the Galaxy Tab A11 and Galaxy Tab A11+ models, offering a clearer picture of what to expect.

Based on the leaked document, the Galaxy Tab A11 features a slim and light body, which is only 8 mm thick and 335 grams in weight. It will be powered by an 8.7-inch LCD display that supports up to a seamless 90 Hz refresh rate, giving users a better viewing experience for watching media and playing games casually. Under the hood, the tablet will be driven by MediaTek Helio G99 processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and availability of 64 GB or 128 GB storage space. It will be out of the box on Android 15.
Where the photography is concerned, the Tab A11 will be equipped with an uncomplicated camera configuration comprising an 8MP rear camera with autofocus, and a 5MP front camera for video calls. The Tab A11 will be equipped with a 5,100 mAh battery, which will offer adequate stamina for day-to-day use, and optional 4G connectivity for access to the internet on the go.

Galaxy Tab A11+ will go a step higher by providing more expansive 11-inch LCD screen, perfect for individuals who want more screen space for entertainment or productivity use. The Galaxy Tab A11+ will be powered by the more developed MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which features four Cortex-A78 CPU cores running at 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A55 at 2 GHz, as well as the Mali-G615 GPU. This hardware setup promises more seamless performance and improved multitasking ability over its previous version.
In terms of storage and memory, Galaxy Tab A11+ will come in variants of 6 GB and 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage, to cover all possible needs of users. Its camera system will be the same as that of the A11, with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. These specs make Tab A11+ a good option for price-conscious users looking for greater power and more screen space without the big price.
While Samsung has yet to confirm official pricing, tipster Abhishek Yadav recently shared a post on X, disclosing expected price points for the Indian market. According to the leaked information, the Galaxy Tab A11 WiFi-only variants are expected to be priced as follows:
4GB RAM + 64GB Storage: ₹12,999
8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹17,999
For the Galaxy Tab A11 LTE variants, the pricing is expected to be:
4GB RAM + 64GB Storage: ₹15,999
8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹20,999
It is important to note that these are unofficial prices and could change once Samsung makes an official announcement. Still, these price points suggest that Samsung is targeting the budget segment aggressively, competing with other affordable tablets available in the Indian market.
With the Galaxy Tab A11 line, Samsung is tactically expanding its slate lineup by introducing affordable devices without sacrificing necessary features. Whether you are a student or general user looking for an entry-level device, or you are in need of a workhorse secondary device, the Galaxy Tab A11 and A11+ seem well-suited to address low-to-moderate multimedia and productivity expectations.
So far, Samsung has not announced the official release date or price, but with the leaked specifications and rumored prices, the Galaxy Tab A11 lineup is set to disrupt the affordable tablet market when it finally releases.
