Tecno launched the POVA Curve 5G in May last year, and now it's turn for an upgraded model. The company launched its new smartphone, the POVA Curve 2 5G, in India on Friday. The phone features a 144Hz curved AMOLED display, a Dimensity 7100 processor, and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging support.

As for the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, it will be available in two variants - 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at ₹27,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at ₹29,999. As for the color options, it will be available in three color options - Storm Titanium, Melting Silver, and Mystic Purple. The sale will start on February 20 at 12 noon on Flipkart, and you can get up to ₹3,000 off through bank offers.
Tecno POVA Curve 2 Display & Design
Additionally, this phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ (1208 × 2644 pixels) resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone measures approximately 7.42mm thick and weighs approximately 195 grams. It also boasts an IP64 waterproof rating, meaning it's dust and water resistant.
Tecno POVA Curve 2 Performance & Software
The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16. Under the hood, the POVA Curve 2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. The onboard RAM can be expanded up to 16GB using additional storage. The processor is paired with an Arm G610 MC2 GPU.

In terms of cameras, the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G sports a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. There's a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

In terms of battery, this phone packs a large 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support (with the in-box charger). Additionally, the handset supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, and the company claims it's the world's first smartphone to support 20 5G bands.
