Vivo T5x

Vivo has launched its new mid-range smartphone, the Vivo T5x, in India; it serves as the successor to last year's Vivo T4x. The device features a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging, and comes equipped with a 120Hz display, a Dimensity 7400 Pro chipset, and a 50MP primary camera.

In terms of durability, the device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water. This handset will be available in Cyber ​​Green and Star Silver color options; it measures approximately 166 x 78.43 x 8.3 mm and weighs 219 grams.


The Vivo T5x 5G features a 6.76-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. However, since this device does not utilize an AMOLED panel, the contrast levels may be slightly lower. As for the battery, the Vivo T5x 5G is equipped with a 7,200mAh unit that supports 44W wired charging. The company claims that on a single charge, this battery delivers up to 40 hours of video playback, 93 hours of music playback, and 14.5 hours of navigation time. Additionally, it will come with support for reverse charging.


The Vivo T5x 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. On the front, a 32-megapixel camera is provided for selfies and video chats. Both cameras support 4K video recording; thus, it can be said that users will get a robust camera setup well-suited for content creation and vlogging.


The Vivo T5x 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. The device ships with OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16, and includes several AI features such as AI Creation (text generation, summarization, and proofreading) and Office Kit (PC ↔ Phone file transfer). It comes with a commitment of 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The camera setup features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 sensor alongside a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel camera is provided on the front. Both cameras support 4K video recording, making this device an excellent choice for content creators and vloggers.

If you are looking for long battery life, strong performance, or a durable phone, the Vivo T5x is an excellent option; however, if you prefer an AMOLED display, you might want to consider other alternatives.
