The Vivo V70 series is set to launch in India on February 19th at 12 PM, succeeding the V60, which was introduced in 2025. However, ahead of the launch, pricing and several specifications have been leaked, which we'll cover in this blog post. Pre-bookings also began on February 12th and will continue until February 24th, with the official sale starting on February 25th, likely on Amazon and Flipkart.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the leaked pricing of the upcoming Vivo V70 series in a post on X. According to the leak, the Vivo V70 will come in two variants: one with 8GB + 256GB and priced at ₹45,999, and the other with 12GB + 256GB storage, priced at ₹49,999. The Vivo V70 Elite will also come in three variants: one with 8GB + 256GB and priced at ₹51,999, the other with 12GB + 256GB and priced at ₹56,999, and the third with 12GB + 512GB and priced at ₹61,999.
The Vivo V70 series is expected to carry forward the legacy of Vivo in terms of design and camera capabilities in the upper mid-range segment. With the Vivo V70 Elite being the flagship model, Vivo is also expected to introduce a performance upgrade in this series to strike a balance between design and performance. The Vivo V70 series is expected to target consumers who value design, camera performance, and a comprehensive smartphone experience over gaming performance.
The V70 Elite is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is pretty much confirmed news. In terms of battery, a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging is expected. The battery is good for medium to heavy use, though it's slightly smaller than its 7,000mAh+ competitors. The phone also comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
Talking about the display, the V70 Elite comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K OLED flat display, and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness for good outdoor visibility. Along with this, ultra-thin bezels are good for media consumption.
This time a lot of focus has been given to the camera which is going to give the best quality for imaging and content creation. This time there is going to be a 50MP main camera + 50MP Zeiss telephoto + ultra-wide lens on the rear and a 50MP front camera which will take excellent selfie images. This time the camera system can also get support for 4K HDR video and AI audio noise eraser. A similar camera setup is expected not only in the Elite but also in the standard V70.
According to several leaks, the Vivo V70 lineup is expected to ship with OriginOS 6, which promises a long software support life with four major Android OS updates and a total of six years of security updates. This is impressive and makes the device one of the most future-ready options available in the upper mid-range segment.
The Vivo V70 line is aimed at the sub-flagship market, where performance and functionality are paramount. Instead of focusing on gaming performance, this series focuses more on striking a good balance between design, display, durability, and camera functionality, especially with Zeiss optics and high-resolution front cameras. The vanilla V70 offers all these features at a fairly affordable price, while the V70 Elite is aimed at those who value high-end camera capabilities and a superior user experience.
