Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X Fold 6 in China, featuring a massive 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, 200MP ZEISS camera, 8.02-inch 120Hz foldable AMOLED display, Android 16, and up to 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. The latest foldable by Vivo, the Vivo X Fold 6, has been launched in China. It is the successor to Vivo's X Fold 5, which comes with multiple upgrades like a 7,000mAh battery, the new flagship Dimensity 9500 Super chipset from MediaTek, a high-end ZEISS camera, and productivity-focused software updates.

As competition among foldable phones grows tough, Vivo seems to be looking for ways to cement its standing in the market by bringing out a highly advanced foldable phone at present. Although the smartphone has been launched in China alone, there are many users who are looking forward to its global launch, which may also include India.
The Vivo X Fold 6 is set to be made available in China starting from July 1, but there have been no such plans revealed for the India launch.
Vivo X Fold 6 Price
There are different variants available for Vivo X Fold 6.
Starting with the basic one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, its price is CNY 7,999 or around ₹1,11,000. The variant of 12GB RAM and 512GB storage costs CNY 8,999 or about ₹1,25,000, whereas the one with 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 9,999 or around ₹1,38,900.
Vivo has also introduced 16GB RAM with 1TB storage capacity, and its price tag is set at CNY 10,999 (approximately ₹1,53,000). In addition to this, there is a special Black Gold Edition with 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage that comes at a cost of CNY 11,299 (approximately ₹1,57,000).

Vivo X Fold 6 Features a Stunning Dual AMOLED Display
Among the many key features of the Vivo X Fold 6 is the 8.02-inch folding AMOLED inner display which is manufactured with the aid of the latest generation M14 luminescent material from Samsung and has an incredible 2504 × 2312 QHD+ resolution, HDR capabilities, and an extremely high 120 Hz refresh rate.
The display can showcase 1.07 billion colours and the DCI-P3 colour gamut and has a 300Hz touch sampling rate. According to the company, the maximum brightness of the screen is capable of reaching 5,000 nits.

One can set up the phone with as much as 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, giving you the flagship-grade power for your gaming needs, multitasking, AI processing, and productivity.
The folding device comes with the latest Android 16-powered OriginOS 6 Fold, which brings some upgrades in Vivo’s Origin Workbench, allowing one to run up to five applications at once.
200MP ZEISS Camera System
The next remarkable feature of the Vivo X Fold 6 is the photographic equipment of the smartphone.
It has a triple-camera system at the back, designed in cooperation with ZEISS. There is a main camera with the 200 MP sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), alongside the ultrawide camera with 50 MP resolution and a periscope telephoto lens with 50 MP resolution that allows up to 100x digital zoom.
The company has also included a second-generation 200mm external telephoto lens in the Vivo X Fold 6 that allows the smartphone to provide 8.3x native optical zoom and 17x lossless zoom that make this device especially good for wildlife photography, sports photography and taking photos from the distance. This smartphone is equipped with several AI camera features, including AI Camera Coach, several professional film styles and image optimization by ZEISS.
To take selfies and make video calls, there are two cameras on the phone – one is placed in the cover display and another in the foldable display; their resolution is 20 MP. The phone can record 8K videos and 4K 60 fps Dolby Vision videos.

New standards are set when it comes to the battery life of the Vivo X Fold 6. Equipped with the largest battery ever installed in a foldable smartphone, it features an enormous 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery.

Vivo X Fold 6 India Launch
At present, Vivo has only launched the X Fold 6 in China and has yet to announce its availability in India or other countries across the world.
Taking into account past launch announcements for foldable devices from Vivo, there still is a chance of Vivo announcing international availability of the device in the coming months.
