Chinese phone maker Vivo has quietly added the Vivo X300 FE to its global lineup, and the phone has appeared on Vivo's Russia website. The phone is essentially the global version of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which launched in China in December. One major change to the global model is that it supports Bluetooth 6.0, while the Chinese model had Bluetooth 5.4.

Vivo X300 FE Display
Speaking of the Vivo X300 FE's display, it features a 6.31-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display. The screen resolution is 2640 × 1216 pixels and supports an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The screen also features an anti-glare coating, which reduces reflections in bright light. According to the company, the display offers a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, making it easy to use the phone outdoors in sunlight.
Processor and Performance
The Vivo X300 FE is a compact flagship smartphone powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This chipset is based on a 3nm process technology. It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. Storage options are 256GB and 512GB (UFS 4.1).
Software
The phone runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. The company has promised five major Android updates, along with seven years of security updates, which means support will be available until approximately 2033.
Battery and Charging
The phone features a large 6500mAh battery, designed for all-day use. This large battery supports 90W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Such a large battery in a compact phone makes it unique.
Camera
The phone has three cameras on the back: a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera (f/1.57 aperture), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX882, 3x optical zoom). A 50MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.
Durability and Security
The phone is IP68 and IP69 rated, making it dust and water resistant, and it features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity
As far as connectivity is concerned, the Vivo X300 FE offers a whole range of modern connectivity features that can be found on a flagship smartphone. The smartphone offers 5G network connectivity, which can enable faster data rates and better network performance. Additionally, it offers Wi-Fi 7, which provides better network stability and faster network speeds than previous versions. The smartphone offers Bluetooth 6.0, which is a significant upgrade over Bluetooth 5.4 offered by the Chinese variant. Other connectivity features include NFC, USB Type-C, and satellite navigation systems such as NavIC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, etc.
Design
The Vivo X300 FE has a modern and compact design. The dimensions of the smartphone are 150.83 x 71.76 x 7.99 mm, and it weighs around 190-191 grams. This allows users to hold and use the smartphone with ease using a single hand. The smartphone has a glass finish on the back and comes in three colors: Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black. The Moonlight White variant has a textured finish, while the other variants have a smoother finish on the back. The smartphone has a pill-shaped camera module on the back, which is placed horizontally. This provides a unique look to the smartphone compared to its predecessor. The smartphone does not have an Aura Ring light, unlike some of the previous Vivo smartphones. The LED flash is placed between the camera sensors.
