Vivo has officially announced that it will release its highly anticipated X300 series phones in China on October 13th, 2025. The brand also released a couple of promotional images with the announcement, which reveal the design and colorway of the new flagship phones. Interestingly, the Vivo X300 series is the first series of phones to come with MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9500 processor, so these phones are one of the biggest releases of the year.

Vivo X300 Series Launch Event Details

Putting all rumors and speculations to rest, Vivo finally confirmed the launch dates of the X300 and X300 Pro. The official launch event will be held in China on 13th October, where the brand will also launch a range of ecosystem products, including Vivo WATCH GT 2, Vivo TWS 5 series, and Vivo Pad5e tablet. This makes the event a timely one, as Vivo will not only be exposing its top-of-the-line smartphones but also expanding series of wearables and smart products.

Design and Color Variants Revealed

The promo pics emphasize the design language of the X300 series, indicating that Vivo has chosen a flatter frame with rounded edges, making the phones look more sophisticated than their predecessors. The LED flash module has been moved to the left edge of the camera module, which itself is designed in collaboration with ZEISS for pro-level photography.

When it comes to colors, Vivo X300 will be released in light blue, light pink, black, and silver. The X300 Pro, however, should arrive in dark gray and beige colors, though additional color options could be revealed at the event. Surprisingly, leaks indicate that the X300 Pro could feature a new multifunction button, much like Apple's Action Button, making it even more user-friendly.

The First to Sport MediaTek Dimensity 9500

MediaTek's latest flagship processor, the Dimensity 9500 SoC, will be unveiled globally within Vivo X300 series. Vivo's Han Boxiao announced the partnership and even posted preliminary benchmark scores. Based on the tests, the X300 Pro achieved 412,000 points on AnTuTu while keeping its temperature stable at 24.6°C, which means stunning thermal efficiency and performance stability.

With this chipset, performance, AI processing, gaming performance, and power efficiency are expected to see meaningful improvements. Since these are the first-ever smartphones based on Dimensity 9500, Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are expected to establish new benchmarks in flagship performance.

OriginOS 6 Launch with New Features

The X300 series will also be the first Vivo phones to come pre-installed with OriginOS 6, the company's newest proprietary Android-based interface. The latest iteration of OriginOS is said to bring better lock screen functionality, personalization features, and better user experience, making Vivo's flagships not just mighty but also feature-packed phones.

Besides that, Vivo has also confirmed that the X200 Mini is to be replaced by the regular X300 model for consistency within the lineup and upgrading the bottom variant with more premium features.

Ecosystem Extension

In addition to the X300 series, Vivo will also present multiple other offerings at the October event. The Vivo WATCH GT 2 will be released with the company's proprietary Blue OS 3, adding advanced smartwatch features. The Vivo TWS 5 series earphones should introduce enhanced audio and AI-driven features, while the Vivo Pad5e should prove to be an over-featured productivity and entertainment-oriented tablet.

This suggests that Vivo is not only concentrating on smartphones but is endeavoring to create a holistic ecosystem of devices, in competition with the likes of Apple, Samsung, and Huawei.

With the Vivo X300 series already scheduled to make its official launch on October 13, attention is now focused on the brand's flagship announcement. From the flat-edged minimalist design to the ZEISS-driven cameras and the world's first Dimensity 9500 chipset, the X300 series is set to give smartphone fans a powerhouse boost. Paired with the launch of OriginOS 6 and a broader range of wearables and tablets, Vivo is undeniably looking to solidify its market presence in both the smartphone and smart ecosystem space.
