WIKO is back in the spotlight with an exciting new smartphone announcement the Huawei X70, launching officially on October 30. A Fresh Design with Huawei’s Signature Touch

Huawei X70 is already creating a buzz after it was reportedly seen in the China Telecom database with the model number CHE-AN00. The device is rumored to come with a square-shaped camera module that brings a new design angle with an innovative lens frame. The vertically stacked camera sensors and an independently placed LED flash create a sophisticated, futuristic aura for the X70.

Official Confirmation and Teaser

The company took to Weibo to confirm the launch, sharing a teaser post that reads:

“Your hardcore gear is here! Follow and forward, draw a new machine! #WIKO #X70 | Kunlun quality, one-click Beidou. 3 days countdown, October 30th, hardcore debut!”

This teaser mentions two of the phone's largest improvements the Kunlun Glass technology and the one-click Beidou satellite connectivity, priming for an improved and tougher device.

Kunlun Glass Display

The WIKO Huawei X70 will reportedly come with a 6.7-inch Kunlun Glass display, a major highlight of the device. This display technology enhances screen durability by at least 20%, providing superior resistance to scratches and accidental drops. Kunlun Glass, which has been used in some of Huawei’s premium devices, is known for its toughness and reliability making the X70 a great companion for outdoor and heavy-duty users.

Power Converges with Interconnectedness through eMBB Support

Under the hood, the X70 introduces support for 5G-enabled Mobile Broadband (eMBB), which is a major step forward in connectivity performance. eMBB is a new generation network service with faster data speeds, greater bandwidth, and larger capacity than traditional 4G networks. This makes the device ideal for users who depend on fast-speed apps, gaming, or VR streaming promising a smooth and lag-free experience even with heavy data usage.

One-Tap Beidou Satellite Feature

Perhaps the most intriguing new feature on the Huawei X70 is its one-tap Beidou satellite capability. With this feature, users can send brief satellite messages or even make emergency calls with one touch. Although information is sparse, it's apparent that WIKO is looking to open up communication in isolated or network-blocked locations — a feature that might just be a true game-changer for visitors and off-gridders alike.

Camera and Battery Expectations

Based on initial listings, the WIKO X70 may have a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera that can take detailed and colorful images. The phone may be fueled by a huge 6000mAh battery for long-lasting performance for users constantly on the move. With such a huge battery, the phone may be able to last a day or more of continuous use, even with 5G connectivity and high-brightness display settings.

With the Huawei X70, WIKO is combining toughness, innovation, and cutting-edge connectivity into a single powerful device. From its Kunlun Glass protective cover to support for eMBB 5G and Beidou satellite functions, the X70 appears poised to revolutionize what users have come to expect from a mid-range smartphone.

The official release on October 30 will show more of its processor, price, and availability but as of now, it's looking to be one of the most highly-anticipated smartphone releases of the season.
