Microsoft has announced the second wave of Game Pass titles for May 2026. The highlight is Forza Horizon 6 available right now. Alongside it, the lineup brings horror, co-op, RPGs, puzzles, simulation, and several day-one launches.

The last month was a great one for Game Pass members. This month’s offering from Microsoft is not a fluff release either. Regardless of whether you like racing around Japan’s realistic open world or going around ancient underground ruins in first person, there’s something for everyone.
Let’s look at all that is new, coming, and the things you should download before they’re gone.
Forza Horizon 6 is Here Right Now
Forza Horizon 6 sees the franchise travel to Japan for the very first time. The new map is touted by Xbox to be the largest ever seen in a Horizon title. The game features over 550 authentic cars and an open-world divided into various regions where players find races, exploratory areas, and seasons events.
The game launches right now for both Game Pass Ultimate members and PC Game Pass members. Forza Horizon 6 is playable on Cloud Gaming, Xbox Series X|S consoles, handheld gaming, and on PC. There is no need to hold back if you already have subscriptions.
The choice of Japan makes perfect sense for a Horizon title. Imagine driving along winding roads through forests, racing on streets, or driving on the highways overlooking the coastline. Seasonal events mean that the content cycle will keep going even after its initial launch.
Games That Arrive on May 20
Five titles join the service on May 20 a strong mid-month drop that covers very different tastes.
Day-One Game Pass Launches This Month
Several titles are launching directly into Game Pass this month no wait, no separate purchase needed. This is where the subscription really shows its value.
What is Coming in June
Microsoft has already confirmed two major titles for early June. Both land on June 2 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Final Fantasy VI is regarded as one of the best RPG games out there. The introduction of FFVI to Game Pass is huge news and would definitely attract a lot of newcomers into a classic masterpiece. Jurassic World Evolution 3, on the other hand, belongs to a totally different genre of park management simulation games.
Games Leaving Game Pass on May 31
Five titles are being removed at the end of the month. If you have been meaning to finish any of these, now is the time.
Metaphor: ReFantazio and Persona 4 Golden are notable losses. Both are long, story-driven RPGs but if you have not started either, you have until May 31. After that, they will require a separate purchase.
In-Game Rewards This Month
Xbox is also offering some in-game bonuses for two games from May 26. Xbox subscribers will be able to unlock these bonuses in the games called Microsoft Jewel and World of Tanks: Heat. While they may be small things, they definitely won’t go unnoticed by those who play these games often.
This is going to be a great month for Game Pass, as May 2026 is turning out to be. In itself, Forza Horizon 6 would’ve been enough to make the news, but now with Remnant II and multiple day-one games, as well as the confirmed June list with Final Fantasy VI, this looks like a very good line-up indeed.
If you were thinking of subscribing, then this month could do the job for you. Even if you’re an existing subscriber, there’s still plenty of things waiting for you to come and enjoy.
