  • POCO F8 Ultra and F8 Pro Launch Globally With Elite Chipsets, Brighter Displays, and Bigger Batteries

What You Need to Know POCO launched two new flagships globally: POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro. No vanilla POCO F8 launched yet; may be the only model to arrive in India. Global prices start at USD 579 for F8 Pro and USD 729 for F8 Ultra with early bird offers. F8 Ultra targets users needing big screens & telephoto zoom, while F8 Pro provides flagship power at a lower price. POCO has now officially announced its flagship POCO F8 series , which includes the POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro, for global markets. Curiously, while the global lineup appears strong, there is still no sign of the vanilla POCO F8, which could be, based on brand history, the only version that eventually makes it to India. If that sounds familiar, it is because POCO also skipped launching both the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra for the Indian market, leaving just enough room for a similar possibility this time too. New F8 series is all about performance, enhanced imaging, long battery backup, and better multimedia features, while keeping prices lower relative to the premium lineups of Samsung, OnePlus, and iQOO. POCO F8 Series with Qualcomm's latest Elite-series chips, brighter displays, Bose-tuned stereo speakers, and updated HyperOS 3 is designed to raise the bar for flagship value in 2025. POCO F8 Ultra & F8 Pro POCO has priced its new flagship phones fairly aggressively in the global market: POCO F8 Ultra 12GB + 256GB → USD 729 (approx. ₹65,100) 16GB + 512GB → USD 799 (approx. ₹71,300) Early Bird Pricing: USD 679 and USD 729 respectively Colors: Black, Denim Blue POCO F8 Pro 12GB + 256GB → USD 579 (approx. ₹51,700) 12GB + 512GB → USD 629 (approx. ₹56,100) Early Bird Pricing: USD 529 and USD 579 Colors: Black, Blue, Titanium Silver POCO is also offering Spotify Premium trials, Google One storage, YouTube Premium trials, and one free screen replacement within 6 months of purchase sweetening the deal further. POCO F8 Ultra The POCO F8 Ultra leads the lineup with everything maxed out. It boasts a 6.9-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, making it among the brightest and most immersive screens in its segment. Under the hood, the Ultra runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with as much as 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone also boots the latest HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16. Camera System POCO has equipped the F8 Ultra with an all-50MP triple camera configuration: 50MP Main Camera with OIS 50MP Periscope Telephoto – 5x Optical Zoom 50MP Ultra-wide Lens 32MP Front Camera This setup is designed for serious photography enthusiasts who want stable shots, detailed zoom results, and strong low-light performance. Battery & Charging The Ultra houses a massive 6,500mAh battery supported by: 100W Fast Charging 50W Wireless Charging For audio and security, the device features Bose-tuned stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and multiple GNSS systems. POCO F8 Pro While still featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness-a very rare case for this class, the POCO F8 Pro uses a slightly more compact 6.59-inch AMOLED display. While the Ultra gets the latest chip, the F8 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the previous generation Elite flagship chipset, which is still extremely powerful and more than capable of handling gameplay, editing, and heavy multitasking. Camera Setup 50MP Primary Camera with OIS 50MP Telephoto – 2.5x Optical Zoom 8MP Ultra-wide Lens 20MP Front Camera Battery & Charging The Pro packs a 6,210mAh battery with: 100W Fast Charging 22.5W Reverse Wired Charging Additional highlights include IP68 water and dust resistance, Bose-tuned stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. HyperOS 3 + Android 16 Both models run the latest HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. POCO has confirmed: 4 Years of Android OS Updates 6 Years of Security Patches This brings the F8 series in line with industry competitors like Samsung and OnePlus, making it a reliable long-term investment. Which One Should You Choose? Choose POCO F8 Ultra if you want: Bigger 6.9-inch flagship display Better zoom (5x periscope telephoto) Larger battery with wireless charging Highest performance with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Choose POCO F8 Pro if you want: A more compact and comfortable flagship Great performance at a lower price IP68 water resistance Same ultra-bright display but at cheaper pricing The POCO F8 Pro is clearly aimed at users who want flagship-like performance without spending ₹70,000–₹80,000. POCO F8 Series vs Competitors With the market shifting toward expensive premium flagships, POCO is positioning the F8 lineup as a value flagship alternative. While the iQOO 15 and OnePlus 15 may offer slightly better gaming optimization or smoother daily performance, POCO wins in: Battery capacity Display brightness Pricing Bundled benefits Long-term updates This makes the F8 series ideal for users prioritizing display quality, battery life, and premium features without breaking the bank. Both the POCO F8 Ultra and F8 Pro offer an excellent combination of flagship performance, top-of-the-line camera hardware, brighter displays, and long-term software support. With competitive pricing and launch benefits, the new F8 series is easily one of the most value-packed flagship lineups of 2025. If POCO brings the base POCO F8 to India, it could well be a massive hit in the premium mid-range segment. As of now, though, the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro set a high bar for global value flagships.

What You Need to Know Realme C85 5G launching in India on 28th November Features a 6.8-inch HD+ 144Hz AMOLED display IP69 Pro rating + MIL-STD 810H rugged certification Expected starting price: ₹15,499 Realme is all set to bring in one more strong addition to the budget 5G lineup in India. The company has confirmed the launch of the Realme C85 5G on 28th November, and till now, it seems to be an improved version of Realme 14x better, tougher, and more feature-packed. With its huge battery, military-grade toughness, and some standout premium features quite rarely seen in this price segment, the Realme C85 5G aspires to become that go-to device for users who are looking for performance, style, and long-lasting reliability without spending too much. Realme C85 5G Display One of the major highlights of the Realme C85 5G is its 6.8-inch HD+ AMOLED display. The presence of a 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate immediately sets it apart in the budget category, offering super-smooth scrolling, better gaming visuals, and an overall premium touch response. Also, the implementation of AMOLED tech from Realme ensures punchy colors, deeper blacks, and high brightness levels, hence suitable for content streaming, social media, and daily use even in outdoor environments. A Reliable 5G Processor for Daily and Heavy Us The Realme C85 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a well-balanced 5G processor for multitasking and power efficiency. Be it gaming, operating multiple apps, or switching between resource-heavy tasks, this processor keeps things fluid and seamless. Paired with Realme's optimized UI, the device should offer solid performance for casual and power users alike. Battery and Charging The Realme C85 5G brings one of the biggest batteries in its segment a huge 7000mAh cell. This ensures 2–3 days of battery life for most users, especially those who heavily rely on their smartphones for streaming, gaming, or navigation. Additionally, there is the addition of 45W fast charging by Realme for when users need a swift topping-up of their battery. It also supports 6.5W reverse charging, so the phone can also act like a power bank for wearables and other gadgets. Camera Photography enthusiasts will find value in the inclusions of a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor, which is reliable and well-optimized in the mid-range, accompanied by a 2MP secondary lens, with an 8MP selfie shooter upfront for those social media-ready shots. Realme is also highlighting its AI Edit Genie, a new AI-powered photo editing tool designed to deliver studio-like enhancements with a single tap. Durability The Realme C85 5G turns out to be quite rugged. It comes with an IP69 Pro rating, which is not that common in budget smartphones. It means: Dustproof High-pressure water resistant Able to withstand harsher conditions than regular IP68 devices Further, MIL-STD-810H certification makes this smartphone drop-, extreme temperature-, shock-, and vibration-proof, which is highly suitable for field workers, travelers, and clumsy users. 400% Louder Audio & Enhanced Signal Strength Realme claims that the C85 5G delivers 400% louder audio output, promising a better speaker experience when it comes to media, movies, games, or ringtones. It also touts Enchanted Signal Strength for better connectivity and fewer call drops, while assuring stable 5G speeds even in weaker network zones. Realme C85 5G: Expected Price and Variants Realme is expected to launch the device in two storage variants: 4GB + 128GB - ₹15,499 6GB + 128GB - ₹16,999 At this price, the C85 5G seems to be unbeatable for value considering the AMOLED panel, huge battery, IP69 rating, loud audio, and Sony camera sensor. A Value Monster With Rugged Features The Realme C85 5G is essentially the Realme 14x with some meaningful tweaks, but those tweaks-especially the IP69 protection, huge battery, and updated camera features-make it stand out in the budget segment. If Realme nails the pricing at launch, this device will likely dominate the ₹15K category.

Samsung remains ideal for users who want apps, payments, and a full smartwatch ecosystem. After making their global debut in September, Huawei has finally launched the Watch GT6 and Watch GT6 Pro in India, bringing a wave of fresh innovations to the premium smartwatch category. Drawing on its reputation for taking battery life and fitness tracking beyond the norm, the Huawei GT series extends that promise with more detailed training metrics, better outdoor durability, and brighter displays than the competition. Given that Samsung and Garmin continue to dominate the space in India, Huawei takes direct aim by offering something the competition often lacks-incredible endurance. A new generation of smart fitness and endurance-focused smartwatches Huawei has launched the Watch GT6 and GT6 Pro with a clear theme sports, precision, long-distance performance. Unlike many mainstream smartwatches, which put heavy emphasis on app ecosystems and smart features, Huawei is doubling down on accuracy and endurance for athletes. Both watches come with: Improved heart-rate monitoring Enhanced GPS precision Wrist-based cycling power tracking Advanced training algorithms This means users get actionable data for running, cycling, and intensive workouts instead of basic numbers like calories or steps. Huawei claims up to 21 days of battery life on a single charge, instantly placing the GT6 series among the longest-lasting premium smartwatches in India. Huawei Watch GT6 Pro The Huawei Watch GT6 Pro is designed for adventurers, serious athletes, and outdoor explorers. Its build itself speaks “premium + rugged”: Aerospace-grade titanium frame Sapphire glass protection AMOLED display with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness Most premium smartwatches, including the Apple Watch and Samsung flagships, max out at around 3,000 nits, meaning the GT6 Pro stands among the brightest options globally. Sunlight legibility during noon workouts, hiking, or cycling sessions will never be an issue. To further refine outdoor accuracy, Huawei introduces its new Sunflower GPS system, a multi-band positioning tech built to improve route accuracy in dense forests, mountains, and urban environments. With over 100 sports modes, 5ATM water resistance, enhanced sleep recovery insights, and a deeply optimized battery, the GT6 Pro is clearly aimed at professional-grade fitness tracking. Huawei Watch GT6 The standard GT6 follows the same fitness-first philosophy but in a lighter and more lifestyle-friendly shell. Even with a simpler design, it still packs: The same high-brightness AMOLED display Advanced fitness and sleep algorithms 21-day battery life Accurate GPS and heart sensors This variant is ideal for users who want premium fitness tech wrapped in a watch that looks elegant for everyday wear. Its lighter design makes it comfortable for daily commuting, office use, and casual workouts. Huawei Watch GT6 & GT6 Pro Price in India The newly launched models are now available on Flipkart and the RTC India official website. Huawei’s strong battery advantage could sway a lot of buyers who want less charging and more performance. Samsung, Garmin & Amazfit vs Huawei GT6 Series Huawei enters a competitive segment but brings a unique value proposition. Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra / Series 8 Better ecosystem integration Strong app support Superior safety features & dual-band GPS Weak point: lower battery life (~60 hours) Garmin & Amazfit (Falcon, T-Rex Ultra) Extremely durable Long battery endurance Great for athletes But Huawei’s GT6 Pro feels more refined & premium Huawei’s wrist-based cycling power tracking, typically found only on advanced cycling computers or chest sensors, gives it an upper hand for cyclists who want pro analytics without extra accessories. Which One Should You Buy? It ultimately depends on what you prioritize: ✔ Choose Huawei GT6 / GT6 Pro if: You want extreme battery life (up to 21 days) You focus on running, cycling, hiking, or endurance training You need accurate GPS and pro-level data You prefer long trips without worrying about charging ✔ Choose Samsung Galaxy Watch Series if: You want apps, payments, widgets, and deep smartphone integration You rely heavily on smart features and ecosystem convenience You prefer a smartwatch that works like a mini phone Huawei clearly targets serious athletes, long-distance travelers, and fitness-focused users, while Samsung remains the better choice for those who want more “smartwatch-like” utility. The Huawei Watch GT6 and GT6 Pro represent a strong comeback from the company for the premium smartwatch market in India. With industry-best battery life, super-bright AMOLED displays, rugged outdoor durability, and accurate multi-band GPS, the GT6 series is built for users who value performance over apps. Priced competitively and fitted with pro-level fitness tracking, Huawei is clearly targeting Samsung, Garmin, and Amazfit on their home turf with a very powerful new lineup. If you are into endurance sports, cycling, or just feel irritated by having to charge your smartwatch every two days, the Huawei Watch GT6 series could be one of the best options you can buy in India right now.

  • Telecom Alert SIM Misuse Can Make You a Criminal Act Now to Stay Safe

What You Need to Know If a SIM card issued in your name is used for cyber-fraud, you can be charged as an offender, even if you didn’t use it. Penalties for telecom-related fraud can go up to ₹50 lakh, along with possible arrest. You must check all SIM cards issued with your identity using the Sanchar Saathi TAFCOP portal. Staying proactive can prevent major financial and legal consequences. India is seeing a spurt in cases of cyber-fraud, and shockingly, even unaware citizens are being dragged into legal trouble without their knowledge. Recently, the DoT has issued a serious alert, cautioning that if a SIM issued in your name is used for cybercrime, as per law, you can be treated as an offender. That is, even if someone else misused the SIM or got it issued without your knowledge, since the number is officially registered with your identity, the legal responsibility rests on you. Many people seem to be unaware that losing track of an old SIM card, giving it to someone else, or having their Aadhaar misused for KYC can all lead to criminal charges if that number is found to be involved in fraudulent activity. The government has also tightened laws around a number of telecom-related offences. An offence like IMEI tampering, fake KYC documentation, or SIM box operations are now defined as non-bailable crimes. The offender, or the person who abets it, can be arrested immediately without the possibility of early bail. Penalties on such offence go up to ₹50 lakh, making it one of the severest sets of telecom laws in the country. IMEI tampering alone is treated as a severe cyber offence often linked with stolen phones, cloned devices, and fraud networks. Similarly, fake KYC during SIM issuance puts both the user and the agent at risk; and SIM box operations used for illegal international call routing have now been placed under strict criminal scrutiny. This alert matters because millions of people have SIM cards linked to their Aadhaar, which they no longer use or even recognize. Cybercriminals often acquire SIM cards through unauthorized KYC, misplaced documents, cloned identities or fake registrations. When such numbers are used to commit UPI scams, fraud calls, loan frauds, sextortion or phishing operations, the first person the authorities approach is the registered owner. Innocent users often find it hard to prove that they are not at fault, and that is why the government has called for the immediate verification of all SIM cards registered under a user's identity. To help citizens stay safe, the government has introduced the Sanchar Saathi portal, a powerful digital platform designed to protect users from identity misuse. Through the portal's TAFCOP feature, anyone can check all active mobile numbers issued using their Aadhaar in an instant. If any unknown or suspicious number appears in the list, users can report it or request its deactivation instantly. The Sanchar Saathi portal also allows people to check whether their phone's IMEI number is genuine in the CEIR section, whether their device was ever reported stolen, and even block or unblock a device in case it gets lost. Citizens will be able to check both the SIMs and the IMEIs to ensure that their telecom identity is not being misused. In the digital world today, securing your identity is no more an option. The government recommends that every mobile user visit the Sanchar Saathi portal and check their linked SIM cards and devices before any misuse takes place. Even one unauthorized SIM in your name can lead to serious legal consequences. Equally important, it is not advisable to share copies of Aadhaar, OTPs, or eKYC information with unidentified people, especially at local SIM shops or agents promising to facilitate upgrades of SIMs. Many scams begin with unsuspecting users handing over their identity documents to strangers. Cyber fraud laws in India have become extremely strict to protect users, but at the same time, they place responsibility on every citizen to keep their telecom identity secure. One compromised SIM, one tampered device, or one fake KYC entry is good enough to put a completely innocent person behind the bars or to make them pay heavy fines. It just takes a few minutes to check your linked SIMs and IMEI on Sanchar Saathi, which saves you from massive legal and financial trouble in the times to come. Staying alert and verifying your telecom details is now more important than ever.

What You Need to Know Honor has launched the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro in China with major upgrades in performance, display, and durability. The series features a 200MP HP3 main camera; the Pro adds a 50MP IMX856 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. Additional highlights include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, IR Blaster, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and Honor’s E2 efficiency chip. Honor 500 starts at ¥2699, while the Honor 500 Pro starts at ¥3599 for the 12GB+256GB variant. The Honor 500 series has now been officially launched in China, and with powerful specifications, premium design, and extreme focus on efficiency and durability, it is already creating massive buzz. Honor has launched two models under this series: the Honor 500 and the Honor 500 Pro. Both these devices bring a plethora of flagship-grade upgrades while maintaining competitive pricing. From an ultra-bright OLED display to a massive 8000mAh battery, advanced camera hardware, next-gen connectivity, the Honor 500 series clearly looks to redefine value in the mid-premium smartphone segment. First, the display on both the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro is a 6.55-inch 1.5K LTPS Flat OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz; this provides extremely vivid colors and ultra-smooth visuals. The brightness has also been pushed further by Honor to unbelievable lengths, peaking at 6000 nits to keep the phones usable even under harsh sunlight. There's also an option for 1800 nits high brightness mode that keeps the luminance stable, along with 3840Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. With ultra-narrow 1.05mm bezels, this sets up a very immersive and premium viewing experience, setting a strong foundation for multimedia consumption and gaming. Another major highlight for the Honor 500 series is their performance. The standard Honor 500 will offer the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, focused on power efficiency with strong performance across everyday tasks, gaming, and AI-driven features, while the more powerful Honor 500 Pro steps things up with the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship-tier processor, promising significantly higher computing power, stronger GPU capabilities, and superior AI processing. Both phones run Android 16 with MagicOS 10, featuring enhanced animations, smarter resource management, improved privacy layers, and deeper AI integration throughout the interface. Honor has given extra attention to the camera setup this year, too. The Honor 500 boasts a mighty dual-camera configuration with a 200MP Samsung HP3 main sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens supporting as high as 30x digital zoom. With such a combination, you can expect very detailed shots, better stability, and improved low-light photography. The 50MP front camera secures sharp selfies and high-quality video calls. The main camera system of the Honor 500 Pro adds a dedicated 50MP IMX856 telephoto lens featuring 3x optical zoom and offering an awesome 100x digital zoom. That makes the Pro variant a true beast of cameras suitable for photography enthusiasts-the ones capturing faraway objects or playing with advanced mobile photography. Having another 50MP front camera on it, the Pro keeps flagship-grade clarity on both sides. The biggest strengths of the Honor 500 series are indeed their battery life, as both phones house an enormous 8000mAh battery. Despite this massive battery capacity, these devices remain slim at 7.75mm and relatively light, weighing about 198g to 201g. The Honor 500 supports 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging, fit for power users and travelers. The Honor 500 Pro keeps the same 80W wired charging but adds 50W fast wireless charging for more flexibility and convenience. Honor's E2 energy efficiency chip in both models and another C1+ RF enhancement chip in the Pro variant further contribute to better battery endurance and stronger network performance. Durability is another standout point, as both devices boast of very high protection standards: IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings make them resistant to water jets, high-pressure environments, dust, and accidental splashes. It touts a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC for a truly full-fledged flagship experience. Honor also introduces an AI-powered physical button for quicker access to smart features, showing the company's strong focus on blending hardware with intelligent software tools. For Honor, this has been a very aggressive pricing strategy in China. The Honor 500 starts from ¥2699 for the 12GB + 256GB version, making it very attractive to users seeking a high-performance phone without having to pay a flagship price. Then, the Honor 500 Pro starts from ¥3599 for the same storage amount, though with the bumped chipset, the addition of a telephoto camera, and wireless charging support, it also makes a pretty good argument for the price increase. All in all, the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro are some of the best-balanced smartphones coming out in 2025, combining world-class display, powerful performance, highly capable cameras, excellent battery life, and class-leading durability. If Honor launches the 500 series worldwide, particularly in India, this may trigger huge competition in the mid-premium segment and pose a serious challenge for OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Samsung. The combination of extreme brightness, huge battery, advanced AI features, and durable build quality makes the Honor 500 lineup one of the most exciting smartphone releases of the year.

  • OnePlus 15T Could Be the Next Compact Powerhouse as Early Leaks Reveal Flagship-Level Features

What You Need to Know OnePlus 15T leaks suggest a compact 6.31-inch flat display with a super-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. Expected to pack a 7,000mAh+ battery, a major upgrade over the compact OnePlus 13s. May launch in early 2026, as suggested by tipster Digital Chat Station. Positioned as a compact performance phone, focusing on smooth UI, high frame rates, and battery life. OnePlus is firing on all cylinders in 2025. After the successful debut of the OnePlus 15 , the brand seems ready to expand its lineup again-this time with a compact yet powerful model known as the OnePlus 15T. While the OnePlus Ace 6T is gearing up for launch in China, leaks around the 15T are already creating serious buzz among tech enthusiasts. If the rumors that have surfaced recently prove to be true, then the OnePlus 15T would indeed serve as an enticing middle ground between a compact flagship and performance powerhouse. A Compact Design Without Compromising Power If the latest leak from OnePlus Club on X is any indication, the OnePlus 15T will come fitted with a 6.31-inch flat display, essentially making it as large as the OnePlus 13s , which boasts a 6.32-inch panel. For all practical purposes, the 15T then falls squarely into compact territory, an increasingly uncommon category in the Android space these days, without compromising on performance. Adding even more excitement to the 15T is the 165Hz refresh rate, which offers exactly the same ultra-smooth experience as on the OnePlus 15. This implies that OnePlus might be using the same 3rd-gen BOE Oriental Display, boasting crystal-clear visuals, high brightness, and industry-leading responsiveness. The symmetrical bezel design further adds to the sleek and modern appeal. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 to Power the Beast Performance enthusiasts will be in for a treat. The OnePlus 15T is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship processor, which is the same one powering the OnePlus 15. This makes the 15T one of the most powerful compact smartphones of the year, capable of handling heavy multitasking, gaming, and performance-centric workflows with ease. Apart from a metal frame, the device is also very likely to sport an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is a radical improvement upon optical sensors in terms of both speed and authenticity. Massive Battery in a Compact Body One of the surprising things about OnePlus' 2025 lineup has been how much endurance the batteries have. The OnePlus 15 launched with a massive 7,000mAh battery, which was highly unusual for a flagship device. It now appears that the OnePlus 15T might also boast a battery in the 7,000mAh class and could even slightly surpass it. If that's accurate, it would be a significant boost from the OnePlus 13s, which arrived with a 5,850mAh battery. A compact body combined with marathon-grade endurance could make the 15T the perfect companion for travelers, gamers, and users for whom battery life is the most critical factor. Improved Durability The leak also claims that the OnePlus 15T would arrive with IP68/69 water and dust resistance, bringing it at par with the durability seen on premium flagships. This, too, is yet another step up from the IP65 rating on the OnePlus 13s and shows that OnePlus is serious about making its compact lineup more rugged and reliable. Camera Setup Camera details for the OnePlus 15T remain sketchy, but there are many good hints from previous patterns by OnePlus. T-series devices have always made mild changes to differentiate themselves from the main flagship. For context: The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP configuration with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. The OnePlus 13s employs a more minimal dual 50MP arrangement featuring 2x optical zoom and avoids wireless charging entirely. With these trends in mind, expect the camera system of the OnePlus 15T to be more subdued compared to the OnePlus 15, perhaps with fewer sensors or a reduced zoom capacity. This should fit the expected target group for the 15T: performance-first buyers who don't value photography as much. Where the 15T Fits in OnePlus’ 2025 Lineup OnePlus is shaping an interesting portfolio strategy this year: OnePlus 15 - All-round flagship for premium users OnePlus Ace 6T (global: OnePlus 15R ) - Affordable performance phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 OnePlus 15T - Compact performer with top-tier internals (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 + 165Hz display + huge battery) If those leaks prove to be correct, then the OnePlus 15T will immediately be the phone people will look to for flagship power in a compact form without paying top-tier pricing or focusing on cameras. This is particularly noteworthy, as OnePlus hasn't launched a T-series flagship since the OnePlus 10T back in 2022. Given that the 15T is reportedly part of the 2025–26 lineup, it could mark a major return for the brand's mid-cycle refresh strategy. Expected Launch Timeline One tipster, Digital Chat Station, believes that the OnePlus 15T may launch in early 2026. Thus, it seems OnePlus doesn't want to rush things and wants to give enough time for the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6T to dominate their respective segments. While nothing's officially confirmed yet, the leaks paint a promising picture of what could be one of the most exciting compact Android phones in the coming year.

What You Need to Know Apple is testing an internal chatbot called Veritas, similar to ChatGPT . The app is currently restricted to Apple employees only. Apple is also partnering with Google Gemini for AI development. It is still unclear whether Veritas will ever be released to the public. Apple is rapidly accelerating its AI development, and the latest buzz confirms the company is internally testing a ChatGPT-style chatbot called “Veritas.” This internal tool is reportedly being used to train and upgrade the next-generation Siri. Though Apple has already joined hands with Google Gemini to strengthen its Apple Intelligence ecosystem, delays in Siri's major AI upgrade pushed the company to fast-track its internal developments. So, what is Apple Veritas, how does it work, and what can users expect from the new AI-powered Siri? Here’s everything you need to know. What Is Apple's Veritas App? A ChatGPT-like tool, built to train Siri According to a report by Mark Gurman on Bloomberg, Apple has created a new chatbot app called Veritas, accessible only to select Apple employees. Unlike regular Siri, Veritas operates very much like ChatGPT and Google Gemini, where users (internally) can type in prompts, ask questions, and hold full conversations. Training and Testing Siri’s Upcoming AI Features The Veritas app is being used to test powerful Siri capabilities such as: Searching through personal data Performing in-app actions Understanding complex queries Enhancing conversational intelligence These are exactly the types of improvements users expect as voice assistants evolve beyond simple commands. Powered by Multiple AI Models One of the standout details is that Veritas uses a combination of: Apple’s own large language models (LLMs) Third-party models, including those from Google This multi-model setup proves how serious Apple is about competing in the AI race. Will Veritas Launch Publicly? Up until now, there is no confirmation of Veritas' release to users. Reports say it will remain an internal tool at Apple to drive new innovations in Siri behind the scenes, but Apple may offer a dedicated AI chatbot app to users later-a standalone application, if you will, like ChatGPT or Gemini-but all that depends on strategies in the future. Apple's Next-Generation Siri Apple had earlier planned to launch the enhanced version of Siri in early 2025 but delayed the rollout due to unfinished features. Now, according to the report, Apple is rebuilding Siri from scratch and deeply integrating it with Apple Intelligence, its first major AI ecosystem, which was introduced in 2024. What’s Changing in the New Siri? The revamped Siri will be far more capable than the current version, expected to include: Smarter natural conversations Better contextual understanding Deep integration with apps Personalized responses More advanced automation Apple wants Siri to become a true AI assistant not just a voice command tool. Expected Release Timeline There is still no official release date from Apple. But based on current developments: Siri AI upgrade was delayed in 2025 Internal testing is ongoing via Veritas A full rollout is now expected around early 2026 This aligns with Apple’s strategy of polishing features thoroughly before releasing them to millions of users. Why Apple Is Fast-Tracking Its AI Projects The pressure to catch up with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot is stronger than ever. The delay in Siri's upgrade forced Apple to speed up: AI development Internal testing Cross-brand partnerships That’s why we’re now seeing: A partnership with Google Gemini Secret internal tools like Veritas Fresh AI models powering Apple Intelligence Apple wants Siri to once again become the world's most intuitive digital assistant and Veritas is a major step in that direction. Though Apple's Veritas app may never see a public release, it's quietly influencing the future of Siri and Apple's larger AI roadmap. Given that Apple is rebuilding Siri from scratch and partnering with the likes of Google Gemini, we'll likely have a far better AI assistant come 2026. At least for now, Veritas is Apple's behind-the-scenes secret weapon, one that could redefine how we interface with iPhones, iPads, and Mac devices in years to come.

  • CNAP Explained Everything You Need to Know About India’s New Caller Name Flash System

What You Need to Know CNAP (Calling Name Presentation) is a TRAI-approved system that shows the KYC-verified name of the caller on your phone. Caller details are fetched directly from the telecom KYC database, ensuring accuracy and reducing identity spoofing. It may introduce new features like name update requests and privacy controls in the future. CNAP is designed to make mobile communication safer, more transparent, and trustworthy. The way we identify incoming calls is going to change forever in India. The TRAI has just given the green light to the CNAP portal or Calling Name Presentation, a system that means the real and KYC-verified name of a caller shows up right on your phone screen. This new feature coming your way works somewhat like Truecaller, but with much greater accuracy, security, and government-backed legitimacy. TRAI's CNAP initiative aimed at cutting down spam, fraud, and anonymous calls by making caller identity transparent at the network level. And the best part? It works even without an internet connection, making it far more reliable than third-party apps. What Exactly Is CNAP? The CNAP is a telecom-grade feature that identifies the caller's registered name with every incoming call, even if the number does not lie within your contact list. It does not rely on crowdsourced databases like Truecaller but fetches information directly from the KYC records used when the SIM card was issued. This means the name shown on your screen will be: Official Accurate Verified by telecom operators Protected from tampering By building this system into the telecom network, TRAI aims to create a safer and more trustworthy calling environment across India. How Is CNAP Different From Truecaller? While the concept may feel familiar, CNAP is fundamentally different from Truecaller and other caller ID apps. Here’s how: 1. CNAP Uses KYC Data Truecaller relies on user-submitted names and contact syncing, which often leads to errors. CNAP retrieves the actual name linked to the SIM, ensuring legitimacy. 2. Works Without Internet Truecaller requires mobile data or Wi-Fi to identify callers. CNAP is built into the operator network and works offline, making it more dependable. 3. Governed by Telecom Regulations Unlike third-party apps, CNAP is backed by TRAI and implemented by operators like Jio, Airtel, and Vi. This ensures strict compliance with privacy and data protection rules. 4. No App Required Users will not need to install anything. The feature will be activated at the telecom level across India. Where Is CNAP Active Right Now? Currently, CNAP is in the testing phase. As of now: Jio and Vodafone Idea have started CNAP trials Testing is happening in Haryana Feedback is being collected before the nationwide launch Airtel is expected to join the testing phase soon. When Will CNAP Launch Across India? As per TRAI, the CNAP rollout will be done on a phase-by-phase basis. Thus, a PAN-India rollout is expected by March 2026, which will give enough time to telecom operators for updating the infrastructure, trials, and fine-tuning the caller identification system. When fully deployed, every call domestic or spam will immediately display the caller's authenticated name. How Will CNAP Benefit Users? 1. Reduced Spam & Scam Calls Since CNAP displays verified names, scammers will find it harder to spoof identities. 2. Transparent Caller Identity No more guessing who is calling from unknown numbers. 3. More Safety for Women & Elderly Users Verified identity adds a layer of protection and peace of mind. 4. User Privacy Protection Unlike apps that sync your contacts, CNAP does not collect or upload your phonebook. Are There Any Concerns? While the system is promising, experts are discussing: How name updates will work for users who change their legal name Potential demand for privacy controls Implementation challenges for operators across states TRAI has assured that user data will remain fully regulated and protected. CNAP is a big leap forward for India's telecom ecosystem. A caller ID system regulated by the government ensures authenticity, reduces spam, and strengthens the digital safety of millions. As trials are underway and a pan-India rollout is set to happen in 2026, CNAP will change the way Indians answer their calls. Stay tuned to AndroBranch for more updates on tech innovations coming to India's telecom space.

The 8MP front camera is sufficient for selfies, video calls, and social media content. The phone focuses more on performance rather than an elaborate camera arrangement, something which aligns well with its positioning. Battery and Charging One of the key highlights of the Realme P4X 5G is its huge 7000mAh battery, way larger compared to most of its peers. This makes the device ideal for users who want long battery life for gaming, streaming, and heavy usage without frequent charging. The phone can refuel in no time with 45W of fast charging, so even power users will hardly face any downtime. Realme P4X 5G Expected Price in India The Realme P4X 5G is tipped to have a starting price of ₹15,999, which will make the device a highly competitive offering.
