The Android flagship race is fast heating up with the brands releasing their most powerful smartphones of the year. While the OnePlus 15 and OPPO Find X9 series have already started making headlines, followed by the Realme GT 8 Pro, iQOO is gearing up for its big launch in the form of the iQOO 15. That will reportedly hit Indian shores on November 26th. But days ahead of its launch, the excitement has already started as the handset has gone up for pre-orders and fresh pricing leaks have furthered the discussion among smartphone enthusiasts.

However, the biggest talking point remains the expected price hike, which now has been confirmed by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya. With flagship prices climbing this year, all eyes are on whether the iQOO 15 can justify its rumored pricing with performance and features.
iQOO has introduced a 'Priority Pass' system for customers who desire early access to the device. It's available through Amazon India and the iQOO India online store for ₹1,000, which will later be adjusted in the final purchase amount. Primarily, this acts like a reservation token with several valuable benefits:
Priority Pass Benefits
✔️ Free iQOO TWS 1e earbuds
✔️ 12-month extended warranty
✔️ Priority delivery during launch
✔️ Price adjustment on final payment
Customers with the Priority Pass must make their purchase from November 20th at 6:00 PM to November 28th at 11:59 PM. All benefits are subject to and on a first-come, first-served basis. The pass is non-transferable, and in case the buyer does not use the pass, it will be fully refunded. That's a refreshing take on pre-orders, especially for those users who want guarantees of access to a high-demand flagship.
The latest price leak, which was spotted on Amazon India by tipster Abhishek Yadav, has caused huge online discussion. The leak reveals:
12GB RAM+256GB storage variant: ₹72,999
16GB + 512GB variant: ₹79,999
If these prices are indeed correct, the iQOO 15 will be part of a growing list that includes the Realme GT 8 Pro and OnePlus 15, all of which are said to have their prices significantly increased this year.
Because the CEO of iQOO India, Nipun Marya, earlier claimed that the price of the iQOO 15 would come for ₹65,000-₹70,000. Even though bank offers may bring down the effective price, this leaked pricing still looks higher than expected.
The more surprising fact is the huge leap from the launched price of the iQOO 13 at ₹54,999. This means one could expect a steep price hike with the iQOO 15. The question therefore lingers- does it bring enough to the plate to justify this new premium?
Fortunately, the hardware is nothing short of flagship-grade. The iQOO 15 packs Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, designed for top-notch performance and greater efficiency.
Complementing the raw power, iQOO has fitted a massive 8000mm² single-layer VC cooling system, which provides sustained thermal performance during extended gaming sessions.
Moreover, the in-house Q3 gaming chip enables:
2K gaming
144 FPS support
Improved frame stability
This makes the iQOO 15 a true gaming beast, arguably one of the most powerful Android phones of the year.
Equally impressive is the camera system that comes with a triple 50MP setup:
50MP main sensor
50MP ultra-wide lens
50MP periscope telephoto (3x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom)
This addition of a periscope lens changes the game for distant photography, providing sharper telephoto photography than has ever been seen from an iQOO device.
The iQOO 15 houses a big 7,000mAh battery, much larger than the 6,000mAh unit on the iQOO 13. Despite the new, bigger battery, charging tech remains competitive with:
100W wired fast charging
40W wireless charging
Although that's a slight downgrade from the 120W charging capability available on the iQOO 13, the increased battery capacity balances things out.
While iQOO 13 was all about the performance-to-price ratio and providing flagship power at a much more affordable price, it seems like with the iQOO 15, the brand is targeting a more premium segment. Higher prices may disappoint some fans, but given the hardware upgrades especially the new Snapdragon chip, advanced cooling, and large 7,000mAh battery the iQOO 15 still stands out as the top tier of flagships. With only a few days remaining before the official launch, most buyers eyeing a premium smartphone would logically want to wait for iQOO's final pricing and introductory offers before making a decision. If the leaked price turns out to be true, the iQOO 15 will directly compete with this season's most powerful Android phones.
