Motorola has started teasing the Signature 27 in Europe, hinting at a new premium smartphone with a possible Swarovski edition. Here’s what we know so far.

Motorola Signature 27

The successor to Motorola’s Signature Flagship has been teased by the company. The Motorola Signature 27 teaser is there for all to see at the company’s European website despite the recent launch of its first-generation Signature device. While very little information has been provided regarding the device in question, one thing that can be said without a doubt is that another sub-flagship device is on its way.

Motorola Signature 27 Teaser Goes Live

“Teaser” includes a line reading “A New Perspective Is Coming” with an image of the rear side panel of the soon to arrive smartphone. The picture is not detailed in any way but the camera module can be noticed along with at least two lenses. Another feature introduced by Motorola is the choice of signing up for the phone through the mail; however, the manufacturer did not disclose other details like technical specifications, price or release date.

Currently, there are no leaks providing any information on the Motorola Signature 27 smartphone. Thus, the following details – like processor, screen, cameras, battery, and charging – are still unknown. It seems that Motorola tries to keep the upcoming phone hidden from the public eye but build interest in advance.

Another Swarovski Edition Could Be Coming

Notably, the teaser also mentions the brand "Crystals by Swarovski," although the actual Swarovski logo is not working on the Motorola website at the moment. That could be a sign that the Signature 27 might come out as a special Swarovski model, just like the original Signature had done before.

Indeed, Motorola has started to launch more and more Swarovski models of its high-end smartphones. Just last month, at the International Fair for Hi-Tech Products and Services, the company announced a special Swarovski-embellished Razr 70 model, and now the mention of Swarovski in the teaser about the Signature 27 could mean that this trend will be continued.

Signature phones were introduced by Motorola in January 2026, and the first generation was released as a sub-flagship smartphone. In India, the device's starting price was Rs 59,999, and the device was placed between conventional flagship and premium smartphones.

In terms of specs, the current Motorola Signature includes Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor along with a massive 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display. The screen has 165Hz refresh rate, which is the most notable aspect of the smartphone because it can offer great scrolling and gaming experience to the users.

Speaking about the camera, there is a 50MP main rear camera along with 50MP additional sensors. There is also a 50MP front camera for selfies and video chats. Motorola included 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery into the phone that has 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

In terms of durability, the phone includes IP68 and IP69 water-resistance rating along with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Moreover, Motorola offers to update the phone for seven years from now, which means longer software support compared to many other Android smartphones.

Should You Buy the Motorola Signature Now?c

Teasers for the new Motorola Signature 27 have not come to light in India as of now, while Motorola has not yet specified a date of arrival for the next generation device. Nonetheless, the fact that the teaser has been revealed in Europe means that the release might take place sooner than the initial generation Signature which was launched in January.

Therefore, for people planning to buy a smartphone priced at or above Rs 60,000, it might be prudent to wait since there is no need for a new device at the moment. Buying Rs 59,999 of the existing signature just ahead of the arrival of its successor means that one would miss out on some new technology within a short time.

However, for people looking for a device that provides them with a 165Hz LTPO display, 50MP camera setup, quick 90W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging, the existing Motorola Signature device can be a wise choice until Motorola comes up with something else for the Signature 27.

For now, Motorola is keeping the Signature 27's specifications and launch details under wraps. The teaser is nevertheless an important indication that the next generation of the company's premium Signature series is already in development and could be announced sooner than expected.
