Realme is going to expand the Narzo 80 series in India, confirming the upcoming Realme Narzo 80 Lite. With the Narzo 80 Pro and Narzo 80x already launched, Narzo 80 Lite will deliver the same powerful DNA but with a focal point on the battery life, smart design, and a good price. A dedicated microsite has been published on Amazon, teasing the smartphone and hinting at an upcoming launch. While we don't have an official date yet, the official teasers and leaks have already given us a pretty good picture of the imminent launch.
Realme has officially announced the India launch of Narzo 80 Lite with a specific microsite on Amazon India. Although the launch date remains under wraps, the teaser page highlights the major USPs of the smartphone. It is evident from the tagline 'India's long-lasting 5G battery champion' that Realme is placing tremendous importance on the battery life as one of the major selling points.
The teaser also officially states that the Narzo 80 Lite will be the third addition to its elder brothers the Narzo 80 Pro and Narzo 80x under the Narzo 80 family. With the Lite name, it should be the cheapest of the three, but still featuring basic features for the budget Indian consumer.
The largest highlight of the Realme Narzo 80 Lite is indeed its enormous 6,000mAh battery, which is becoming the signature feature in the Narzo 80 series. Similar to the Narzo 80 Pro and Narzo 80x, the Lite model guarantees longer battery life that will easily last at least an entire day or more on a single charge.
Furthermore, the phone will offer reverse charging, i.e., it will act as a power bank for charging other devices. This feature increases utility, particularly in situations where charging outlets are scarce.
Even though it accommodates a huge battery, the Realme Narzo 80 Lite is able to be as thin as 7.94mm, only one of the thinnest phones in its class. The look seems to be more in line with the Narzo 80x than the circular-camera Realme Narzo 80 Pro.
The phone has a flat-frame design with the power key and volume keys conveniently situated at the right side. At the back, there is a triple-camera system (the details not yet disclosed), further enhancing the phone's multi-purpose nature. Realme has officially announced two chic color options for Narzo 80 Lite Crystal Purple and Onyx Black both of which give the phone a premium feel.
According to early reports, the Realme Narzo 80 Lite will launch in two RAM and storage configurations:
4GB RAM + 128GB storage
6GB RAM + 128GB storage
This dual-variant strategy ensures flexibility for users with different performance needs. The model number for the Realme Narzo 80 Lite is tipped to be RMX3945.
While the pricing is yet to be officially announced, we can expect the Narzo 80 Lite to be positioned below the Realme Narzo 80x, which starts at ₹13,999. Given this, the Lite variant could be priced somewhere in the ₹10,000 - ₹12,000 range, making it a solid contender in the affordable 5G smartphone segment.
With its massive battery, slim design, and reverse charging feature, the Realme Narzo 80 Lite appears set to be a hit among price-conscious buyers who desire a good 5G smartphone without spending much. Realme's persistence with performance and user-friendly features, as in the case of Narzo 80 Lite, could make it another hit for the company's expanding range in India.
Stay tuned for the exact launch date, complete specifications, and pricing information all of which should be announced very soon.
