Realme P4x 5G

Realme is preparing for a significant dual-launch in India, launching the Realme P4x 5G smartphone and the Realme Watch 5 on December 4. It is reinforcing its budget P-series while renewing its smartwatch product lines. Both products have been teased on Flipkart through their respective landing pages, confirming availability via realme.com, Flipkart, and offline stores. With a distinct target of young consumers, the launches coming up emphasize performance, gaming, design, fitness tracking, and long battery life-all at reasonably affordable pricing.

Realme P4x 5G

Targeting the sub-₹15,000 category, Realme P4x 5G intends to bring strong performance and long-lasting power in a segment where reliability and gaming capability mean everything. Realme has already revealed that it will boast a massive 7,000mAh battery, a feature becoming the new normal even in mid-range phones. To complement the large battery, there will be 45W fast charging to ensure rapid top-up of power for seamless use throughout the day.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, fabricated on an efficient 4nm architecture. Realme claims an AnTuTu score over 7,80,000, though internal testing from earlier models of the Realme P4 had it hovering a little lower than 775,000. Either way, the chipset easily positions the P4x among the strongest performers in this budget segment especially if Realme keeps the pricing under ₹15,000.

Made for Gaming

Realme is pitching the P4x as a more gaming-oriented device, and the numbers backing it are there. The phone supports 90fps gameplay in BGMI and up to 120fps in Free Fire, giving mobile gamers an unmistakable advantage in terms of smoother motion and responsive graphics. There's also a 144Hz ultra-smooth display on the handset, further bolstering both gaming and day-to-day scrolling.

To keep the device cool during extended gaming sessions, the P4x features a huge 5300 sq mm VC FrostCore Cooling System-also known as FrostCare on some models. Realme insists that this cooling system reduces CPU temperatures by as much as 20°C, thus allowing sustained performance without throttling.

Design, RAM, Storage & Durability

The Realme P4x 5G features an “aerospace-inspired” design that exudes bold and youthful vibes. Flipkart has confirmed that the smartphone will come in three color options: White, Green, and Pink. This choice ensures options for buyers who prefer subtle or vibrant shades.

The phone also packs 8GB RAM with support for up to 10GB Virtual RAM to enable a total of 18GB dynamic RAM for improved multitasking. For storage, users get 256GB UFS 3.1, which is rare in the under-₹15,000 category and ensures faster app loading and better data handling.

One of its outstanding features is the MIL-STD-810H certified durability, making the P4x more resistant against drops, pressure, vibration, and temperature variations when compared to the majority of budget smartphones.

Camera Capabilities

Realme has finally confirmed the camera specifications via its microsite. The P4x is going to sport a 50MP AI primary camera, which will be capable of doing up to 4K resolution videos at the maximum again, quite a strong offering for the price bracket. While Realme has not revealed ultra-wide or macro details yet, the 50MP + 4K combo hints at promising results for content creators and everyday photography.

Battery Endurance & Real-World Usage Claims

Realme claims that the P4x can deliver:

  • 9 hours of FPS gaming

  • 20.6 hours of video playback on YouTube

These numbers align well with the massive 7,000mAh battery, making this phone a perfect match for battery-heavy users gamers, binge watchers, travellers, and those who prefer fewer charging cycles.

Realme Watch 5

Coming in alongside the P4x 5G, the Realme Watch 5 is designed to appeal to buyers looking for a modern-looking smartwatch without moving into premium pricing brackets. The watch features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with 2D flat glass, offering rich colours and deeper blacks. The aluminum alloy crown and uni-body metal frame give it a more premium look when compared to other entry-level wearables.

Major features include up to 20 days of battery life in Light Mode for minimal charging interruptions. With core features like fitness tracking and daily health monitoring, the Watch 5 meets most of the needs of students, working professionals, and fitness enthusiasts who seek a large-screen watch on a budget.

Who Should Buy the Realme P4x 5G?

The Realme P4x is ideal for users who prioritise:

  • Long battery life

  • High refresh-rate display

  • Gaming-friendly hardware

  • Strong performance under ₹15,000

If camera quality or a cleaner user interface is your top preference, you may want to consider slightly higher-priced devices or wait for Realme's upcoming camera-focused models.

Who Should Buy the Realme Watch 5?

The Realme Watch 5 is perfect for buyers who want:

  • A big AMOLED display

  • Strong battery endurance

  • Reliable health and fitness tracking

  • A stylish design without paying flagship smartwatch prices

With the Realme P4x 5G and Realme Watch 5, the brand is all geared up to make strong inroads into India's budget smartphone and wearables market. The emphasis on gaming performance, massive batteries, rugged toughness, and premium display tech makes the P4x a strong contender under ₹15,000. In contrast, the Watch 5 strikes a fine balance between features for everyday users who need style, utility, and longevity.

While both the products will go official on December 4, given the aggressive pricing strategy Realme usually follows, these launches are sure to be a huge draw for India's younger audience and budget shoppers.
