Realme is fully prepared for a resounding comeback in the tablet market in India as it is going to launch the Realme Pad 3 on January 6. Interestingly, the third-generation Realme tablet will be launched in the country alongside the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ smartphones. It has been more than two years since the release of the Realme Pad 2, and now, the Realme Pad 3 looks forward to bringing some enriching changes, especially for students. Realme has already introduced it in the market as “The Smartest Tablet for Students.”

As stated by Realme, the Pad 3 comes with the “Smart Learning. Less Charging” philosophy. It is thereby expected to have an enormous battery and can be used for an extended period of time. It is exactly what students need, as uninterrupted online sessions, note-taking, video sessions, and all sorts of research come under importance. The device can be purchased from Flipkart.
The Realme Pad 3 is expected to succeed the Realme Pad 2, which debuted last year with a 2K 120Hz display, good performance, and trustworthy battery life. Since competition in the affordable tablet market starts heating up, Realme seems ready to raise the stakes further. Now, ahead of the official launch, trusted tipster Abhishek Yadav lets the curtain fall on a number of its key specs, which provide an idea of what we are going to get from the upcoming tabbed device.
Realme Pad 3 Display
One of the most prominent upgrades the Realme Pad 3 is tipped to get is an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD display. This would make a jump over its predecessor for sharper visuals, which should be really helpful for studying and entertainment. The panel is also said to reach up to 500 nits of peak brightness, while not a massive leap for usage outdoors, it should still improve overall visibility and comfort, especially on long reading sessions or video playback indoors.
A larger, higher-resolution display would go a long way toward improving the experience for those who use a tablet for e-books and PDFs, online classes, or just plain creativity.
Realme Pad 3 Battery and Charging
Living up to its “Less Charging” promise, the Realme Pad 3 has been tipped to come with an enormous battery of 12,200mAh, which is a substantial upgrade over the 8,360mAh battery in the Realme Pad 2. This device has been touted to become one of the best battery life-enhancing slates available in its category.
To complement the larger battery, Realme is also expected to enhance fast charging support from 33W to 45W. With this improvement in fast-charging support, the tablet is expected to be even friendlier to use even with the larger battery. However, the actual battery performance can only be confirmed after the release of the Realme Pad 3 Review.
Realme Pad 3 Processor
In the performance arena, Realme Pad 3 is expected to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max SoC. Even though the SoC contains “Max” in its denomination, it is already seen in multiple 5G smartphones offered under ₹20,000 in India this year. The processor is known to work just fine when it comes to regular tasks, multitasking, as well as gaming.
Interesting times ahead, as it would be great to see how this processor is going to deliver with a tablet form factor, especially with AI-learning functionality, productivity use cases, and watching media. Of course, one is not sure if Realme is going to give us a 5G or a Wi-Fi-only model with the Pad 3.
Cameras, Accessories, and Student-Friendly Add-ons
From an optics point of view, Realme Pad 3 is expected to arrive in the market with 8MP at the back and 8MP on the front camera. Although tablet devices are not necessarily camera devices, having a good front camera becomes imperative in online classes and virtual meetings where students rely on tablets to some extent.
Realme may also come up with some accessories, such as a keyboard and a stylus, to enhance productivity. These accessories will hopefully be sold separately, but there are some reports which claim that the initial buyers will get the stylus for free, which may prove to be very tempting for students and new tablet buyers.
Price Expectations
At the point in time now, Realme has kept the price, design, and specifications of the Realme Pad 3 under wraps. Although there are some leaked specs which have come from trusted sources, at this point in time, it is necessary to consume them with a pinch of salt. However, looking at the price pattern that Realme has followed in its previous tablet offering in India the Realme Pad 2 that came out at ₹19,999—the Pad 3 may turn out to be quite competitively-priced in the mid-range segment.
With brands like Realme's Redmi already hinting at the upcoming arrival of new tablet models, it's quite evident that the competition is heating up. Nevertheless, considering the Realme Pad 3 model’s emphasis on AI learning, the high-resolution screen, the enormous battery, and the educational-centric offerings, this upcoming tablet is definitely worth the wait. Everyone’s attention is fixed on January 6, when Realme will unveil the arrival of their latest tablet.
