Sony has confirmed that another price hike will be implemented by the company concerning the PlayStation Plus subscription service. The new price levels will take effect starting May 20 for all new subscriptions in selected regions, while the gaming community does not seem pleased with this change. In turn, the price for a three-month plan is set to be:

£21.99 GBP
This means that the monthly subscription will be $1 more expensive than before, while a three-month one will see an increment of $3. Though such changes might seem minor on the surface, gamers often complain about how expensive gaming subscriptions, console equipment, and AAA games have become altogether.
It should be mentioned that existing users won't be affected by the changes, unless they expire, lapse, or change tiers in most regions. However, people from India and Turkey might expect additional costs despite being active users of the service, which has been criticized by the community.
