The only thing that is different in the new Vivo device is the SoC itself. Instead of Dimensity 7360-Turbo, Vivo uses the Dimensity 7400-Turbo. However, considering how close those processors are in terms of specifications and that they use a 4 nm production process, there shouldn't be a big difference in terms of daily performance for users.

In summary, battery capacity, charging capabilities, screen, camera, design language, storage options, etc., remain practically the same.

Upgrading from the Vivo V60 Lite to the Vivo V70 Lite 5G for the current users of Vivo V60 Lite makes little sense. A slight improvement in the chipset will hardly be enough reason to purchase an expensive new phone.

Nevertheless, things may look different for people who own phones introduced before 2023. In case you are using a phone with a 5,000mAh battery and slow charging rates, the enhanced capacity battery of the V70 Lite together with the 90W fast charging may seem like an improvement worth considering.

Market speculations indicate that this smartphone might make its way into the Indian market under the name Vivo V70e. There has been no official statement regarding the same; however, Indian buyers can take note.
