After teasers and speculations for weeks, iQOO has finally announced the India launch date of its new flagship phone, the iQOO 15. The company announced that it will launch the device on November 26, a bit earlier than anticipated. The news comes on the heels of several teasers from iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya, who had previously suggested a November-end launch through an X (previously Twitter) post that was cryptic in nature. The teaser featured a spinning wheel highlighting dates under “11,” with November 27th previously believed to be the launch date. Now, the suspense is over the iQOO 15 is officially arriving on November 26.

The iQOO 13 was actually released in India in early December 2023, which means the company has definitely stepped up their timeline this year if they want to remain at the forefront of the competitive flagship game. Interestingly enough, this is not alone in the case of iQOO a number of other Android OEMs such as Xiaomi (with the Xiaomi 17 series) and Vivo (with the X300 series) have already expedited their flagship releases ahead of time.
Since the iQOO 15 has already been released in China, we already know its specifications and features. The Indian version should also come with almost the same hardware, providing the same premium-level performance, display, and camera configuration that created a buzz in the Chinese market.

In addition to the iQOO 15, the company is also hinting at the launch of OriginOS 6, its new software skin. The updated interface brings in what iQOO terms as "Dynamic Glow," presenting a more fluid and seamless visual experience throughout the system. Taking a cue from Apple's Liquid Glass design language, OriginOS 6 includes rounded icons, layered transparency, and nuanced blur effects that provide a premium feel.
A highlight feature is "Atomic Island," iQOO's response to Apple's Dynamic Island. It enables users to see real-time notifications, manipulate music, handle tools such as timers or stopwatches, and engage with apps in a richer manner. It's obvious that Android OEMs are far more embracing design inspirations from iOS 26 and though some stalwarts disapprove, Android users are reaping a cleaner, smoother interface without sacrificing customisation options.
iQOO 15 includes a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED 2K screen supporting a 144Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for seamless scrolling and games. The display offers up to 2600 nits of brightness in HBM mode as well as a record-high 6000 nits of peak brightness, creating a new milestone for flagship phones. In comparison to the 6.82-inch panel in the iQOO 13, this one is ever so slightly larger and a lot brighter, providing excellent visibility even in extreme sunlight.
This screen also offers adaptive refresh rates and HDR content playback, which makes it great for gamers and multimedia users alike.
Inside, the iQOO 15 has the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor accompanied by the Adreno 840 GPU. This combination ensures best-in-class gaming and multitasking performance. The phone further features up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, which allows for super-speedy app opening and effortless multitasking.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is delivering massive performance and efficiency increases over the previous generation, guaranteeing that the iQOO 15 will have one of the premium Android flagship experiences in its segment.
iQOO has always been gamers' favorite, and the iQOO 15 inherits the tradition. It is equipped with the largest 8000mm² single-layer VC cooling system in the industry, which provides efficient heat dissipation for prolonged gaming or intense multitasking.
Besides, the in-house Q3 gaming chip of iQOO supports 2K + 144 FPS gaming, providing console-level performance and more fluid frame rates in supported titles. With this, the iQOO 15 has all it takes to become a competitive mobile gamer's dream device.
The iQOO 15 improves its camera capabilities with a triple 50MP setup that includes:
50MP Primary Camera (OIS supported)
50MP Periscope Telephoto Lens (3x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom)
50MP Ultra-Wide Sensor
This is a massive upgrade compared to the iQOO 13, which did not have a periscope telephoto lens. The new configuration promises clearer zoom and higher-resolution long-distance photography, and it's a major benefit for photography buffs.
For video calls and selfies, the front camera has a 32MP sensor with AI beautification and HDR optimization for crystal-clear output even under adverse lighting conditions.
The iQOO 15 boasts a gigantic 7,000mAh battery, a significant jump from the 6,000mAh battery of the iQOO 13. It has support for 100W wired and 40W wireless fast charging. Although the wired speed has gone down marginally from 120W to 100W, the overall battery life has seen a significant boost due to the increase in capacity.
This blend provides day-long power, even with prolonged gaming or multimedia usage. With iQOO's battery optimization history, consumers can anticipate great standby and screen-on times.
While iQOO hasn't made an official confirmation of the Indian price yet, we can estimate that the iQOO 15 will begin around ₹54,999, just like its predecessor. If the company keeps things competitive, it would be able to undercut competition from OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Samsung flagships with similar if not better hardware.
With an officially announced launch date of November 26, the iQOO 15 is looking like one of the strongest and feature-stacked flagship smartphones of 2025.
The iQOO 15 is the ideal combination of power, performance, and innovation. From its mesmerizing 2K 144Hz AMOLED screen and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to its periscope telephoto lens and 7,000mAh battery, each detail has been precisely optimized to provide an actual flagship experience.
If iQOO manages to keep its pricing aggressive as it did with the iQOO 13 the iQOO 15 could easily dominate the flagship segment in India this year. Whether you’re a gamer, power user, or tech enthusiast, this upcoming device deserves a spot on your watchlist.
