iQOO Z11 Series Global Launch Confirmed for May 6 Big Battery Beast Set to Shake Mid Range Market

And so, the international roll-out of the iQOO Z11 range of smartphones has begun. This may turn out to be among the more intriguing mid-range phone announcements in 2026. Following its reveal in China, the new smartphone range is going international, with Malaysia being its first destination outside China. The iQOO Z11 and the iQOO Z11x have been spotted on Vivo Malaysia's official website. Users can place their orders beginning April 27, and the launch date is set for May 6.

iQOO Z11 Series

Although this launch is considered Malaysia-exclusive, Indians will need to watch out. The Z11x model has already been launched in India some time back, and with the announcement of a global launch of the standard Z11, it seems imminent that the phone would soon make its appearance in India as well. There's a catch, however the international version of the phone is quite different from the domestic variant.

iQOO Z11 Global vs China Variant

Chinese users got to experience the iQOO Z11 with the highly efficient MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC. This chipset was placed above the majority of mid-range processors in terms of power output. The phone cost around CNY 2,299 (₹32,000).

Nevertheless, the global iQOO Z11 seems to have some differences. According to benchmark results, this phone comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, alongside an Adreno 810 graphics card and the maximum operating frequency of 2.71GHz. Although still being rather efficient, it doesn't seem to be as powerful as the Chinese version of the phone.

It's worth mentioning that this chipset isn't new either – it is currently used on some phones such as Nothing Phone 4a or the Vivo T5 Pro, and it will probably be included into the OnePlus Nord CE 6 phone as well.

Massive Battery and Flagship Level Features

While the phone might not be packing flagship-grade chipsets, iQOO has managed to retain the phone’s key strength without question its massive battery.

For starters, the international version of the iQOO Z11 comes with an incredible 9,020mAh battery with 90W fast charging capability, which makes it one of the largest batteries ever featured in a high-end smartphone. Even more amazing is the fact that the battery sits within an incredibly thin body of 8.25mm in thickness, which is truly an engineering marvel.

Speaking of which, the iQOO Z11 sports a massive 6.83-inch OLED panel capable of refreshing up to 165Hz for an outstanding smooth scrolling experience. In terms of imaging, there’s a 50MP rear camera with OIS support, 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie cam.

In terms of build quality, the device boasts both IP68 and IP69 ratings, thus providing it protection from dust and water ingress rare feature for the price range. There will be two color variants in the lineup – Blue and Black, and users will be able to choose between 8/12GB RAM+256GB configuration and run Android 16 straight out of the box.

iQOO Z11x Stays Familiar

The iQOO Z11x, however, stays the same as the Indian model which was unveiled earlier in the year. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset and has a 7,200mAh battery pack capable of fast charging at speeds up to 44W.

The smartphone is equipped with 8GB of RAM, has a storage capacity of either 128GB or 256GB, and comes in Silver and Black body colors. This implies that iQOO is offering the Z11x as a consistent smartphone in terms of its hardware configuration, whereas the Z11 is the flagbearer of the range.

Expected Price and India Launch Timeline

The price details will be revealed once the Malaysian launch happens, but looking at the prices in China and the global trends, we can safely assume that the iQOO Z11 will be launched in India around ₹25,000 to ₹35,000. The iQOO Z11x, which costs ₹18,999 in India, acts as the starting point for this range.

India's consumers don't have to wait for too long, as iQOO usually manages to bring out its Z-series smartphones in India immediately after their global release.

If you are in the process of buying a smartphone under ₹35,000 right now, you might want to wait for a couple of days. iQOO Z11 may prove to be one of the best devices for this category of buyers, particularly those who require good battery performance.

With other smartphone brands like OnePlus Nord 6 that promise similar battery performance but are in a higher price range, iQOO could surprise customers with its competitive pricing in the Malaysian launch.

We still need the Malaysian launch to find out whether the device is indeed going to be affordable or not. Till then, the iQOO Z11 can be counted among the most interesting upcoming smartphones.
