Nothing Phone 4a Pro Teaser Reveals Glyph Matrix Design Ahead of Global Launch

Nothing is launching the Phone (4a) series in London today, and these smartphones will be available in India as well. This series will include two models, the Nothing Phone (4a) and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. Till now, the company was only teasing the design, colour options and the new Glyph Bar of the standard Phone (4a), but just hours before the launch, the company has released the first teaser of the Phone (4a) Pro, which focuses on the Glyph design. CEO Carl Pei had announced the launch of the Nothing Phone 4a series a few weeks ago, taking a dig at the launch of Apple's new MacBook Neo, and today that day has come.

Nothing Phone 4a Pro

Nothing has been teasing the specifications of the Phone 4a Pro for the past few weeks, and now the Nothing Phone 4a has been fully revealed. The teaser doesn't show the phone's full design, highlighting only the silhouette and Glyph Matrix. Its design appears to be very similar to the Glyph Matrix seen on the Nothing Phone (3). The launch event for the Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro will be livestreamed online. The livestream for viewers in India will begin at 4:00 PM IST. The event can be viewed on Nothing's official YouTube channel and the company's website. Or stay tuned to AndroBranch for the event.

As Carl Pei has announced that the company will not launch a flagship model in 2026, the brand's premium device this year will be the Phone 4a Pro. The phone is expected to feature a small circular LED display in the top-right corner. The Glyph Matrix could display information such as pixelated animations, notifications, app alerts, and timers. It also offers the option to play small games like Spin the Bottle, making the phone's interface more interactive.

Reports suggest that the Phone 4a Pro will not have a completely transparent back panel. Its cameras and Glyph Matrix could be housed within a semi-transparent raised plateau. Some concept renders have surfaced online showing this design, though not everyone finds it appealing. The Nothing Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4a are expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage. It could come in four colors: blue, yellow, pink, white, and black. The Nothing Phone 4a Pro is expected to feature a 5,080mAh battery, slightly better than the 5,000mAh battery on the 3a Pro. This battery is also said to support 50W fast wired charging.

However, since it's not a flagship phone, some features may be limited. And since Nothing likely won't launch a flagship Phone (4) in 2026, the A-series could become the company's main offering. Leaks suggest the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro could have a starting price of around ₹40,000. According to tipster Debayan Roy, the Nothing Phone 4a price in India will likely start at ₹31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants also expected. This price is significantly higher than the Phone (3a) Pro (₹29,999). Nothing co-founder Carl Pei had previously hinted that the price of the new phone could increase due to rising memory prices.

There's not much time left until the launch, and the full specifications and pricing of both phones will be revealed shortly. It's a good idea to check out reviews and comparisons before buying, especially if you're considering upgrading from the Phone 3a series.
