OPPO has officially confirmed that its next Find X-series flagship will launch in April. This information was shared on Weibo by OPPO Product Manager Zhou Yibao. Additionally, the brand's latest teaser confirms the return of its iconic circular camera module, which features Hasselblad tuning to deliver a premium imaging experience. Subsequently, Pete Lau OPPO Global and Chief Product Officer confirmed the device's name: the OPPO Find X9 Ultra. Notably, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will be the company's first "Ultra"-series phone to receive a global launch, signaling that the device will be made available in numerous countries.

A teaser released by the company showcases an orange, pressure-sensitive button located on the side of the phone; the company is referring to this feature as the "Quick Button" or "Snap Key." This Quick Button enables a variety of functions, such as instantly launching the camera with a double-tap, acting as a shutter button to capture photos, controlling zoom via a sliding gesture, and executing custom actions like audio recording. This trend is gaining rapid momentum within the industry; Apple, for instance, also introduced a similar camera button in its iPhone 16 series.

Recent reports regarding its camera specifications suggest that the Find X9 Ultra will feature a new 10x optical telephoto lens from Hasselblad. The company has described this setup in very straightforward terms, likening it to "installing a teleconverter inside a smartphone." This system supports native 10x optical zoom, 20x "optical quality" zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom.
