OPPO has finally unveiled their Reno15 series to the global audience, launching it first in Taiwan. The series brings three smartphones to the market OPPO Reno15 Pro Max, Reno15 Pro, and Reno15. These smartphones were first unveiled in China in November 2025. The re-entry of OPPO into the market with this series not only brings a technological upgrade but also restructures their whole approach to their famous Reno series.

Among the most prominent discussions when it comes to the Reno15 series is the renaming convention. Traditionally, the Chinese firm has capped its Reno series with a “Pro+” model, and this has been the case until the Reno10 series. However, this has all changed with the Reno15 series because the firm has now opted to adopt a “Pro Max” model.
Interestingly, this trend is actually a reflection of the recent Xiaomi 17 Pro Max lineup, and also Redmi’s K90 Pro Max variant for the China market. Over the past few years, the Reno lineup of smartphones from OPPO has actually been pitted against the iPhone Pro range from Apple, primarily due to the similarity of camera designs and the use of high-end materials. But with the Reno15, this seems to have changed.
Adding another twist to the Reno saga, OPPO had already confirmed the Reno15 Pro Mini in India. It appears that the Reno lineup is set to go in two separate ways One being the larger Pro Max, and the other being the Pro Mini, effectively displacing the Pro+ that was at the top of the line.
What’s more, the global OPPO website is now showing the Reno15, Reno15 Pro, Reno15 Pro Max, and Reno15 F, without the Pro Mini variant. This is a telltale sign that the compact Pro variant may be a China exclusive or a different variant, maybe the Reno15 Pro, of the device sold elsewhere, or at the least, that the company is now more open than before to regional variation.
In Taiwan, OPPO has launched all three smartphones at a very premium pricing level, taking directly into consideration the focus of the lineup on the camera capabilities, battery capacity, or design.
The OPPO Reno15 Pro Max comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is available in only one variant with a price tag of TWD 24,990, which is approximately equal to ₹71,000. It is offered in two colours Twilight Gold and Desert Brown.
The OPPO Reno15 Pro is available at a price of TWD 20,990 (approximately ₹60,000) for its 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage variant and is launched in Aurora Blue and Desert Blue color options.
In the meantime, the normal OPPO Reno15 has two variants. For the base variant, which has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, it has a price tag of TWD 17,990, which translates to around ₹51,000. For the variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, it has a price tag of TWD
Headlining the lineup is the OPPO Reno15 Pro Max, made for those who want a larger display, excellent smartphone cameras, and wireless charging capabilities. This device comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which comes alongside 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Although it is not the most powerful, it has been optimized for performance and efficiency.
The camera hardware is where the Pro Max differentiates itself. The device comes with a 200 MP primary camera, a 50 MP telephoto lens with a 3.5x optical zoom, a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50 MP front camera meant for selfie-shooting. This is without a doubt one of the most camera-centric handsets in the lineup.
Battery life is aided by a huge battery of 6,500mAh capacity, which has been accompanied by 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging a rather rare feature on non-flagship smartphones.
The OPPO Reno15 Pro has the same specs as the Pro Max but packs them into a much smaller body. The smartphone comes with a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen and the same Full HD+ display as the Pro Max, as well as the same 120Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the same Dimensity 8450 chipset, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it features the same camera configuration as the Pro Max, which includes the 200MP camera and the periscope telephoto camera.
The battery power is slightly reduced to 6,200mAh, although the charging capability remains at 80W. It measures 151.21 x 72.42 x 7.99mm and weighs approximately 188 grams. Based on the specifications, it appears that the device is claimed to be Reno15 Pro Mini in the Indian market.
The standard variant of the OPPO Reno15 is the most budget-friendly model, but it does not go without the use of the highest-end specifications. This model is driven by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, combined with a capacity of up to 12GB of RAM, as well as 512GB of internal storage.
The phone comes with a 6.59-inch FHD+ display and a 120Hz refresh rate. For the cameras, the phone comes with a 50MP primary camera with OIS support and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom capability and an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera. The presence of the periscope camera on the phone makes it quite an advantage for OPPO over the competition.
The device features a 6,500mAh battery, which is accompanied by fast charging of 80W. The dimensions of the phone are 158 × 74.83 × 7.77mm, and it weighs about
Each of the three OPPO Reno15 models comes with ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16, giving you access to the latest upgrades on the Android platform. Additionally, all the devices have an IP69 rating, giving them a top-level dust and water resistant capability, a feature not commonly found in this price range.
Connectivity features are the same for the entire range and come with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, satellite navigation, and face unlock and fingerprint recognition functionality.
The OPPO Reno15 series is clearly targeted at competing with the V series of Vivo, the higher-end series of Realme’s number series, or the Redmi Note Pro series. Rather than concentration on pure performance, the report highlights the camera hardware, periscope zoom, quality design, and larger batteries.

Periscope telephoto lenses are relatively rare in the segment as yet and will provide a short-term edge to OPPO, although the Realme 16 Pro variants are rumored to feature similar hardware as well.

Then there’sreno15 Pro for those interested in flagship-level cameras and processing capabilities housed in a smaller device.thereno15 is ideal for those willing to sacrifice a little on its chipset and rear camera for its periscope zoom capabilities.
At present, the price and release information for the OPPO Reno15 is unknown and pending release in India. Based on past releases by OPPO, the potential release in India will probably be in early 2026.
