Realme could soon launch the new P4s 5G in India with multiple RAM and storage variants. The smartphone is expected to expand the already crowded P-series lineup targeting the competitive mid-range segment.

It looks like Realme is set to add another member to its growing P series smartphones range in India. According to the reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav, the next P series smartphone model by Realme known as P4s 5G (model number RMX5125) is expected to launch in the country soon. Although there has been no confirmation from Realme regarding this leak so far, it is safe to say that the leak itself reveals how fiercely Realme is trying to attack the highly contested mid-range phone category in India.
In the last few months, the Realme P series of smartphones has turned out to be the most prolific among all the other product lines of Realme in India. The company which initially had a few P-series smartphones to offer has now gone on to create an extensive portfolio in this range. With the arrival of P4s 5G, it appears that Realme wants to be able to cater to all customers in the Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000 bracket.
Realme P4s 5G RAM, Storage, and Colour Options Leaked
According to the most recent leak, there will be several different variations of memory and storage for the Realme P4s 5G. This mobile phone is likely to have models that have 6GB, 8GB, or even 12GB of RAM, along with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage space. The addition of a model with 12GB of RAM suggests that the phone is likely to be at a more premium end of the range rather than an entry-level smartphone.
There are rumours that the phone will come in two different colors: Green and Brown. While this might not seem like much of an aspect, the choice of colours plays an important role in attracting young customers as it offers visual appeal as well.
So far, no information has been shared by the company regarding its processor, screen, battery capacity, speed, and camera configuration for the new device. Nonetheless, the company is known for launching phones with high refresh rates, high-speed charging capacity, and big batteries.
Realme’s P-Series Strategy
But the future launch of the new Realme P4s 5G phone will certainly not be in a void, considering that the P series of Realme phones is among the most populated lineages of smartphones in the current Realme India lineup.
It all started with the launch of Realme P4 5G and Realme P4 Pro 5G smartphones in August 2025. Since then, Realme has been gradually adding new devices to the lineage including P4 Power 5G, P4x 5G, and P4 Lite 5G smartphones. Each of these models has its own target audience and differs in some ways while maintaining tight pricing margins.
Rather than relying on a few flagship models for success, Realme seems to have adopted a “segment domination” strategy. This strategy is easy to understand – create a slightly different smartphone to fill any potential gaps in the midrange market segment. Some will target gaming, others long battery life, design, etc.
This strategy is very popular among smartphone brands in India due to the competition between online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon. Such companies keep pushing their exclusive launches, flash sales, etc.
Where Could the Realme P4s 5G Fit in the Lineup?
The main uncertainty associated with the new Realme P4s 5G is about its placement in the current lineup of P series smartphones. The use of the "s" letter typically indicates a new model in the range, but in practice, the company's naming scheme has been quite flexible lately.
The existence of the 12 GB RAM configuration may mean that the smartphone might be positioned above the standard Realme P4 5G in the lineup. This would target those customers interested in multitasking capabilities and smooth gaming.
In case the company sets aggressive prices for the new product, the P4s 5G could be in direct competition with models offered by Xiaomi, iQOO, OnePlus, and Samsung.
Still, such an approach brings some issues for Realme, which should not be ignored. On one hand, a wide choice is good; on the other hand, too many similarly branded smartphones cause confusion among buyers. They are faced with the difficulty of differentiating between models called the P4 Pro, P4 Power, P4 Lite, and P4x, so the emergence of another similar model may complicate decision-making even further.
Mid-Range Smartphone Competition
The mid-range segment of smartphones in India is turning into one of the most competitive categories for phone manufacturers. Apart from specifications, the design, user interface, battery efficiency, AI capabilities, camera quality, and fast charging technology have become significant factors in determining whether a smartphone will be successful.
The company has been known to do quite well in the sales of their phones during shopping seasons because of their approach towards marketing through online platforms. In doing so, the company has been able to keep itself relevant in the ever-changing technological scene in India.
With this in mind, the soon-to-be-launched Realme P4s 5G might prove to be a vital factor in the company’s success, considering that it belongs to the budget category of smartphones. It should also not be forgotten that the device is affordable yet offers high performance and great battery life.
Realme P4s 5G Launch Expectations
While all of these details are still under wraps and the actual date is uncertain, indications suggest that an announcement is likely to be made in the coming month. Information about the chip, camera hardware, screen type, and prices is set to emerge in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, the Realme P4s 5G is yet another testament to the extent to which phone manufacturers are vying to capture the Indian mid-range market with more customized models. What will be difficult for Realme, in this instance, will not only be the release of yet another smartphone but getting consumers interested in it despite the plethora of P-series models that already exist.
