Performance

Under the hood, the Redmi 15 5G runs with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor that is tuned to deliver robust mid-range performance and power efficiency. With support for up to 8GB of RAM (virtually expandable to 16GB) and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, consumers enjoy a seamless multitasking experience and ample storage for apps, photos, and videos.

The synergy between the capabilities of Snapdragon and the optimization by Xiaomi guarantees the phone has no trouble with everything from everyday use to heavy applications.

Monster 7000mAh Battery with Reverse Charging

One of the most significant points of discussion for the Redmi 15 5G is the colossal 7,000mAh battery, which dwarfs many of its peers in its price class. This guarantees hours and hours of use for gamers, binge-watchers, and power users who do not care to constantly recharge.

The smartphone also offers 33W fast wired charging, and Xiaomi is including a 33W charger in the box something users will greatly appreciate. The phone also has 18W reverse wired charging, which means you can even charge other devices using it as a power bank.

Camera Features with AI-Powered Tools

On the camera side of things, the Redmi 15 5G has a dual camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary sensor complemented by a 2MP auxiliary lens. On the front for selfies and video calls is an 8MP camera.

What truly enhances the photography experience are Xiaomi’s AI-powered imaging and editing tools. Features such as AI Erase, AI Sky, AI Beauty, and classic film filters bring advanced editing capabilities directly to users, making it easier to create professional-looking content on the go.

Android 15 with HyperOS 2

The Redmi 15 5G is powered by Android 15-based Xiaomi HyperOS 2, which brings a clean interface with ample customizations and performance tweaks. The software also has Google Gemini AI built-in for more intelligent suggestions and productivity features.
