Redmi has started teasing its new ‘Max’ branding in India, hinting at the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. The phone could launch soon with a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 100W charging, a 120Hz AMOLED display and durable design.

Redmi seems to be in the process of launching its most impressive battery Note model in India. The brand has begun promoting the 'Max' logo for its Note series via its Redmi India X account and this means that soon Redmi is going to launch its new premium version of the phone. Although Redmi has not announced the name and release date for the new model, the teaser is definitely associated with the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max that was recently unveiled in some foreign countries like Japan.

What distinguishes the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max from other models of this series is that it features an impressive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which makes it the only Redmi smartphone with such an impressive battery. In addition to the big battery, the phone can boast a quick 100W charging and durable design. Still, there is one drawback of the phone in comparison with the old model - the Redmi Note 15 Pro+.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max India Launch Date

At present, Redmi has still not announced the date of the launch of the Note 17 Pro Max in India. If the information regarding the pricing is correct, then the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max can debut in the Rs 40,000-plus category. As per reports, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is priced at Rs 37,999, and if the new Max range is priced higher, then there could be a considerable rise in the price. On the other hand, the Japanese version starts from Rs 48,000 after conversion for the 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal memory variant.

As per the international launch model, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is believed to come with a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also offers a peak brightness of 3,500 nits and has the impressive feature of a touch sampling rate of 3,200Hz. As reported, Redmi Note 17 Pro Max boasts 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and 32MP front-facing camera. It looks like a big downgrade compared to 200MP OIS primary camera of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+. That is how one can see that the new Max version is definitely not only about cameras.
