Vivo X500 series India launch teased with X500, X500 Pro and Pro Max, Zeiss 400mm telephoto extender and Vivo Watch GT 2. Check expected specs and price.

There are also rumors about Vivo launching its flagship range of smartphones in India soon. Vivo's next-gen flagship range has been teased in India officially, and the company has revealed its smartphones along with some telephoto camera lenses from Zeiss and a smartwatch. Strangely enough, the teaser reveals that there is going to be another product launch alongside the upcoming smartphones from Vivo – Vivo Watch GT 2.
Indeed, the promotional material shows the upcoming X500 smartphones along with Zeiss telephoto extender and a rectangular smartwatch. As for the last one, it has been mentioned at the bottom of the teaser, where it states that it is none other than Vivo Watch GT 2.
Vivo X500 Series India Launch Date and Models
Vivo X500 series is likely to be released in India on November 25; however, Vivo hasn’t confirmed this release date officially yet. This phone family is anticipated to consist of three models, including Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500 Pro Max. All three phones are rumored to be certified by BIS in India and to feature model numbers V2619, V2621, and V2610.
X500 series was first revealed in China in September and later globally in October. With the India launch teased now, it seems that Vivo is set to release its latest flagship phones to the Indian premium smartphone segment.
Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max Specifications
The basic model of Vivo X500 smartphone will have a 6.59-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Inside it will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chipset, along with a huge 7,500mAh battery. As for photography capabilities, the smartphone will have a 50MP main camera and telephoto camera, which makes this smartphone suitable for people who wish to get a phone with flagship-level cameras but don't want to pay extra money for a flagship.
As for the Vivo X500 Pro smartphone, it is a fairly small smartphone with 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen and 144Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and will have a huge 6,510mAh battery. Similar to the basic model of X500, this smartphone will have a 50MP main camera and telephoto camera.
Starting from the list, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is going to be the most technically equipped smartphone. It is going to include a 6.85-inch 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. This particular Chinese version of the device has a large 8,000 mAh battery, which makes it one of the most battery-centric flagships in its category.
Nevertheless, the greatest selling point of the X500 Pro Max is definitely its camera system. This phone comes with a 200MP Samsung HP0 periscope telephoto camera with Zeiss APO optics that is meant to improve photography at great distances. At the same time, the X500 Pro Max will mark a new premium line of Vivo flagships that won't replace the Ultra model.
Vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 and Gen 2 Ultra
Not only the phones but also the new Zeiss telephoto camera accessory products by Vivo will be launched in India soon. Two versions of this product will be available in India - the Telephoto Extender Gen 2 and the Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra.
The Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 features the 200mm equivalent focal length and supports standard Vivo X500 and X500 Pro. The more sophisticated version of the product - the Gen 2 Ultra - boasts the 400mm equivalent focal length and is compatible solely with the Vivo X500 Pro Max.
Such accessories can become really attractive for those users who shoot far away objects and need a good zoom capability. But one thing needs to be taken into account – the telephoto extenders will be offered as standalone products and won't be included in the package of the smartphones.
Vivo Watch GT 2 India Launch Confirmed
Another major highlight of the upcoming launch event is the Vivo Watch GT 2. While earlier reports and leaks had suggested that Vivo might introduce the smartwatch in India, the latest promotional teaser provides much stronger confirmation.
The smartwatch features a rectangular design, and the fine print on Vivo's promotional material explicitly states that the Vivo Watch GT 2 is not included with the X500 series and must be purchased separately. This makes it clear that the company is preparing a standalone India launch for the wearable.
For those unfamiliar, the Vivo Watch GT 2 originally launched in China in October 2025 alongside the X300 series. It comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display and runs BlueOS 3.0. The smartwatch also supports GPS tracking and Bluetooth calling, while Vivo advertises up to 25 days of battery life for its global Bluetooth variant.
Its arrival in India could give buyers another option in the premium smartwatch segment, particularly those interested in a large AMOLED display, fitness tracking and extended battery life.
Vivo X500 Series India Price
Vivo has not revealed the official India pricing of the X500 series yet. However, the previous-generation pricing provides some indication of where the new smartphones could be positioned. The Vivo X300 launched in India at Rs 75,999, while the Vivo X300 Pro arrived with a starting price of Rs 1,09,999.
Considering the hardware upgrades and the introduction of the new Pro Max model, the Vivo X500 lineup could carry a higher starting price than its predecessor. The X500 Pro Max, in particular, is expected to sit in the ultra-premium category, especially with its 200MP periscope camera and support for the optional 400mm Zeiss telephoto extender.
The upcoming OPPO Find X10 series could be among its closest competitors in India's premium camera-focused smartphone market. With the OPPO lineup reportedly starting at Rs 1,39,999 and going up to Rs 1,99,999 for the Pro Max, Vivo will need to offer competitive pricing to attract buyers.
Vivo X500 Series India Launch
With three premium flagships, two Zeiss telephoto add-ons, and the Vivo Watch GT 2 set to release as a part of the same package, this particular launch is poised to be one of the more exciting premium device launches for Vivo in India.
Amongst the three, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is a particularly attractive prospect for all photographers looking for advanced zoom options, while the regular X500 and X500 Pro would be great choices for customers looking for flagship level performance in different sized displays and prices. The presence of the Watch GT 2 in the pack only adds further interest for customers looking to buy multiple devices at once from Vivo.
But ultimately, the purchasing decision will hinge on how the India pricing and availability of the camera accessories turns out to be. As the telephoto extenders and watch will be available separately, buyers would need to keep in mind the extra cost of these separate accessories as well. More information will be released soon by Vivo.
