Xiaomi 18 Fold and Pad 9 Pro Max Launch Date Confirmed for September 7

Xiaomi has officially announced the September 7 release of the Xiaomi 18 Fold and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max. The new models will sport the latest Xring O3 chip, with the 18 Fold expected to come equipped with dual LTPO panels, 200MP rear camera, 6,000mAh battery and 67W charging.

At the event, Xiaomi plans to launch two new products in its mobile line-up, namely the Xiaomi 18 Fold and the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max. Both of these products will have Xiaomi’s next-generation processor, the Xring O3 chip, which is the successor of the Xring O1 chip of the company.

The autumn product launch event is scheduled for 7pm on September 7 in China. Xiaomi announced the event along with other details on its Weibo account. But the product launch event from Xiaomi does not limit itself to just launching two new smartphones and tablets. Along with this, Xiaomi is planning to launch its new electric SUVs from the N70 and N90 series.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max will be showcased by the company during their upcoming event. Although the company has confirmed the names and processor used in both gadgets, some other specifications remain unclear for now. The main feature that the two gadgets will have is going to be the new Xring O3 chip manufactured by Xiaomi. The CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has announced some information about the new vehicles' safety measures and hardware via a separate Weibo post. According to him, the new SUVs will come with front double-wishbone suspension and rear multi-link suspension for improving handling and ride quality in large/heavier SUVs.

There will be other new features as well that suggest that Xiaomi plans to incorporate performance and additional safety technologies in its new electric SUVs. These include features like high-speed tyre blowout stability control, emergency water-floating assist system, and low-speed driving light.
