There have been official leaks for the design of the coming Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition smartphone that will be launched at the pop-up store event scheduled to take place in September. The limited edition phone has been designed through the collaboration between Warner Bros and Realme. The phone is inspired from several Harry Potter themes.

This collaboration comes in the wake of another smartphone by Realme that was inspired from the themes of another entertainment franchise named “Game of Thrones”. This time the company is collaborating on a smartphone with the Harry Potter theme.

Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Design

The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is marked by a brown rear that is made using leather-like material. This makes it appear more sophisticated and classic. The back of this smartphone has an Argyle pattern that reflects Wizard’s Chess from the Harry Potter world, while the crest of Hogwarts is featured on the central part of the rear.

The brand has also revamped the camera area to fit into the theme. The camera module comes with a design that resembles the eyes of Hedwig, the owl of Harry Potter. The metallic mid-frame also sports the theme through the inscription “Welcome to Hogwarts.”

Harry Potter-Themed Gifting Box Limited to 5,000 Units

The company is also introducing a Hogwarts-themed gifting box along with the phone. Only 5,000 units of the box will be available all over the world. Therefore, it can be really appealing to collectors and fans of the movie.

Moreover, the design of the packaging has become an exact 1:1 replica of the trunk belonging to Harry Potter. The box will contain various collectibles, including acceptance letter, train ticket, Hogwarts crests and character postcards. Furthermore, the package will feature a Hogwarts logo case and phone pin.

With regard to the design of the limited edition phone and various collectibles, this product differs from the regular Realme 16 Pro considerably. Instead of presenting all the technical features of the phone, Realme is presenting it as Harry Potter collectible.

Realme 16 Pro Specifications

Even though the pricing for Realme Harry Potter Edition has not been disclosed as of now, we have the Realme 16 Pro to give us an insight into what kind of specifications the phone could have. It sports a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen and has the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset inside.

The device has a massive 7,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. For photography, it is equipped with a 200MP primary camera having OIS, along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, there is a 50MP front-facing camera.

It was revealed through a previous leak that the Harry Potter Edition could come equipped with 12GB of RAM alongside 256GB of internal storage capacity. At its launch in India, this configuration was available for Rs 36,999. Nevertheless, the pricing for Realme 16 Pro phones has now increased, with starting variants priced at approximately Rs 44,999, while the high-end one is priced at Rs 49,999.

Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Price and Availability

The exact pricing of the Harry Potter Edition model has not been revealed by Realme so far. Realme would be expected to give more information during the pop-up event in India that is scheduled for September 21st. Due to the special design and additional collectibles, it is expected that this particular edition will be sold for a premium over the Realme 16 Pro.

For users who are interested in performance, cameras, battery life and screen specifications, the usual version of the device would seem like a better choice if this particular edition is sold at a significantly higher price point. The Harry Potter Edition is definitely designed for those people who want a phone with an extra layer of exclusivity.

Another interesting thing about the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is that it is becoming another trend in the smartphone business. The manufacturers use popular entertainment franchises to offer limited editions of phones that would differ from the usual smartphones.

For the company, the Harry Potter collection gives the chance to transform standard products into something unique. For fans of Harry Potter, it means something other than just technical information because of the special design of the phone and decorations inspired by the story and characters.

When the Indian release is around the corner, the only thing that is left for Realme is to set the price of the device. If they succeed in keeping it within reason, the phone may become one of the most interesting limited editions of the year.
