Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra retail unit leaked before official launch
New built-in privacy screen mode integrated directly into the display
Screen becomes unreadable from side angles while staying clear from the front

While the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set for this month, several major leaks have already surfaced ahead of the launch. A Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra retail unit has surfaced online, revealing the much-talked-about new built-in Privacy Screen feature.
According to tipster Sahil Karoul, he purchased the Galaxy S26 Ultra before its launch and discovered this feature. The Privacy Screen Mode is integrated directly into the display, eliminating the need for a separate privacy screen protector. We previously reported on this feature through our blog and video. When this feature is turned on, the screen appears blurry or unclear from a side angle (left or right). However, when viewed from the front, the screen remains completely clear and readable. This means that those next to you cannot see who you are chatting with.
This is likely a software-driven technology, rather than a hardware accessory like traditional privacy filters. It reduces side visibility by controlling the brightness and light direction of system pixels. Users are expected to have multiple privacy levels, allowing for viewing angle control. This feature may only be activated for selected apps (such as banking apps, private chats, work emails).
Now, let's talk about the possible specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Like the previous model, it is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery. There will be a quad-camera setup at the back which will include a 200MP primary camera, ultra-wide lens and telephoto lens. There is a possibility of getting a 6.9-inch AMOLED display at the front and the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The phone will be officially unveiled at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25th. Pricing, full specifications, and other features will be revealed at that event. However, several leaks suggest a starting price of ₹1,29,999.
